BB Rosa blu

This review is just my personal opinion and a completely honest review based purely on a four-day stay at this B&B in June 2018.
Stayed here to spend a couple of days cycling around the area and exploring the area on foot and by boat (ferry).
The fantastic reviews I read about the Host Renata and the accommodation before booking were all confirmed as true.
Renata is a wonderful woman: so fantastically friendly, kind and helpful. She couldn’t be more helpful! Full of suggestions of where best to go and when to go etc to ride, sightsee or eat in the area.
See speaks perfect English and is (I think) fluent or at least highly competent in French and German as she appeared to me to be conversing fluently with French and German guests also staying there at the same time as me.
Breakfasts were communal laid on in one large room with everyone sat around the same large dining table - very pleasant. Very informal and laid-back with whomever was requiring breakfast within the allotted time period for breakfast.
The food and the drink provided for breakfast was fresh, very tasty and comprehensive - continental breakfast provided and served by Renata herself.
The accommodation itself is initially difficult to find on foot from the nearby Rail Station (Como Borghi) - well it was for me. For future guests I would advise look for a commercial shop front (furniture shop I think) (see photos if they upload successfully) with an open aspect to walk in an and through - proceed through this ground floor thorough-fare from the street and in the centre on the left hand side is a glazed door with intercom addresses and call-buttons. You will observe one for Rosa Blue B&B - press and Renata will buzz you in and come down for you.
Once you have located the ground floor entrance door once it is easy from there on in. The accommodation is several floors up in a modern purpose-built apartment complex above the shop and accessed by a lift or stairs. The main building itself and access to Renata’s accommodation containing the rooms are very secure.
Rosa Blu is an easy pleasant 10-15 minutes gentle slightly downhill walk from the nearest rail station (Como Borghi) (come straight out of the main front entrance of the station and walk directly straight down hill to a T-Junction, turn left and walk up a very slight incline for approx 200 -300 metres - crossing over at the traffic lights - and look for the shop on the right side of the road where the thorough-fare goes through (Expo Cucine at the time of my visit June 2018). The accommodation is located above the shops.
The accommodation itself is very modern, immaculately clean and well presented.
A mix of mainly double rooms with maybe two single rooms if I recall correctly.
The accommodation is very quiet. Single Bedroom I had was a large size. The bed was super comfortable and very clean.
Bathroom was modern and very clean.
Rosa Blu is an easy 15 minutes walk straight into the centre of Historic Como Centre and to the lake-side and ferry terminal.
All in all for me a wonderful four-day stay with a wonderful Host who could not do enough to help maximise the enjoyment of one’s stay at the accommodation and in Como.
