The villa is a brand new building in a very good location: a few minutes to the beach as well as to the centre, yet it's quiet (apart from the garbage trucks in the morning). There are a number of little foodshops nearby. We had the downstairs apartment; it was spacious, clean and well-equipped (AC, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen fan, and kitchen equipment such as a cheese grater). The beds are rather small though, and not only are you not provided with sheets and cases, you need to take your own blankets as well. (But this might be standard for self-catering apartments in Italy.) The only problem we had was that although we were supposed to be able to rent a beach parasol and two sunbeds at a discounted price, it turned out that the villa has 12 apartments but only 10 reserved parasol-sunbed combo. So although we were entitled to the discount, we didn't get it. Other than this, however, Villa Marina was a very nice place to stay.
