Hotel is very noisy cuz is situated next to the main road passed by trucks and busses all night long. The hotel often doesn't have hot water, toilet paper and towels look really bad. Breakfast is very average. Maybe look for some other place to stay?

Only for 1 night

The hotel is close to the bus station, that’s about the only good thing. The room itself was smelly, no AC, no sink and it wasn’t clean. Checked in late for 1 night, the next morning extended our stay for 1 more night so we could go off and visit Bromo. Ordered a Grab taxi and once arrived we got in and the hotel staff then came over, spoke to the driver and then told us the hotel room was now finished and we needed to check out. Just because we hadn’t booked a more expensive tour through the homestay.

Looks new and has nice architecture outside.

It's pretty decent if you're just here for a night on the way to Bromo.

For the very first time, I paid for a room that does not have a sink in the toilet.

It is pretty noisy all day from the sound of vehicles on the road. Jl. Raya Bromo is always busy with busses and lorries, even in the middle of the night.

For meals, they do provide some simple breakfast with sandwich, banana, and tea. Otherwise, Lava Lava just next door has some very delicious Nasi Goreng.

Wifi available only at the reception and cafe.

Enough for a night

Oh, how I wish I hadn't needed to go to Probolinggo at all. A little town where there's absolutely nothing of interest and where you need to run away from people offering to take you anywhere. But we had to overnight there. So it goes.

This homestay feels new and has a very nice and modern appearance. Beds are large and the A/C works just fine. There's no sink, but what the hell--a tiny detail. Now, the main issue is the fact that when we came to our room there was some kind of bad smell--couldn't assert what it was until we laid down to sleep. The bed--the sheets and pillowcases to be more specific. They had a strong human stench, as if someone had been there just a few minutes before. Plus, there was (body) hair everywhere.

It was too late to look for another place, so we just had to suck it up. Spray the sheets with cologne and perfume, and get rid of all the hair. Pretty bad, but then again--the whole town is an ugly tourist trap.

Unwashed sheets and pillowcases. Next.

The homestay seems pretty new , that why i wounder that there is no sink in the bathroom and no window to get rid of the mouldy smell?! It's noisy,  cause located directly on the main street. Would check for another accommodation next time. 

Not again

We can barely comment on this hotel where we barely spent two hours. The room was quite tidy and comfortable. The bathroom without hot water and the cistern consisted of a cube to fill with water...though that was true, there was gel and shampoo. The staff were very kind. We were prepared for breakfast on the way back from a tour even though we were not included.

Perfect for going to the Bromo.

+ Room we had was nice and new equiped, comfy bed. We had only fan so the room got hot during days. We were also provided with free pick up at the train station, which was really helpful. 

- We booked a tour to Mt.Bromo via homestay and we feel we overpay the tour. We wanted to lower the price since we were joining a girl who was going alone, but we had to pay the same price. And for the service it was too much (600k), try to look also somewhere else. The homestay is far from anything and near to the mosque, which could get little annoying. The breakfast was nothing special. Only toast bread with supersweet spread and tea. Wi-Fi signal is only strong near the reception, where is no proper place to sit. 

As in many other places only cold water and no sink in bathroom. 

Ok for a night or two.


Good homestay

Let's start with a positive note, we enjoyed the free transport from the train station to the hotel. But that's not enough to raise the level of this stay. In the room there is no sink, no toilet paper or soap. The laundry is tiny and the Wi-Fi is not working. Breakfast consists of tea and a toast with chocolate pellets (until then everything is fine) and grated cheese, not very easy to enjoy. But we would have everything if the reception was right. The manager of the garbage was a pushy salesman. We wanted to go up to Bromo and then join Bali in the lobby. He insisted a number of times in order to sell us more Proposals. Then it happened, so we were forced to stop, but then we got a good price, and he told us that we were going to go up to Bromo and then he insisted that we should be able to sell more Proposals. Arnacus

We had booked for two nights. Super welcome from the staff. We were lucky enough to be invited to the manager's birthday party. Super room, very well equipped except there was no sink. Very light lunch.

Nice homestay

This guy's not reliable, be careful!! he's set up a WhatsApp group with all the contacts he has with foreigners so we can give him a good opinion even when we haven't even been to the hotel.
