It was a very nice stay at New Jersey houseboat during my visit to Srinagar in July . The house boat is located in very beautiful part of the lake which offers a beautiful view of the nigeen lake. We walked though a garden (50m) in order to reach the house boat from parking which itself filled with greenery (in July) and was offering a very pleasant view. The bedroom of houseboat is lake facing where you can easily enjoy the lake view from the bedroom glass. This place is very calm, quite and very peaceful . The house boat staff, Owner were very humble and polite. You can take a shikara ride to Dal lake from Nigeen lake.
