Our room was in the back yard and was excellent. Everything was new. We welcomed the air conditioning because it had been a very hot day. I’m not sure if all rooms have A/C. Bathroom all new but got flooded when I opened the water flow too much. Breakfast was good but a bit unorganised. We were first allowed only one croissant (which was delicious) and one coffee. Five minutes later, we could have it all...
There is no reception when you arrive in the afternoon. You’ll have to open the gate and front door by a code that is given to you. All in all we enjoyed it!

Fantastic room with A/C. Breakfast a bit unorganised. 

Cute little place with friendly stuff, room was clean but not very new, close to the best restaurant in town-Chinati, and also close to downtown so I recommend it for the festival season

great location for summer festival season in Veszprém

I stayed this hotel for 5 nights. First of all, the owners can't speak English at all, this may cause a serious problem for non Hungarians. During my stay, they never changed bed linen and bath towels and they did not clean the room. The room had no shampoo and no soap, and the water pressure of the equipped shower is damn poor. Worst of all,  they refused a payment by a credit card, nevertheless there were signs of VISA and MASTER: I had to run around for an ATM!
 
The price seems to be very cheap, however, other pension offers much better service in almost same price (in 8200 HUF per night). In conclusion, there is no reason to choose this hotel: it is nothing but wasting your money.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, during the hottest days of July. The room was nice, big enoug for 2, with a large and comfortable bed, big bathroom (it was new or renewed, looked nice but not so well maintained - broken soap dispenser, flying shower doors). As it was an attic room, so it was quite hot during the day, but it cooled down for the night. We didn't have breakfast here (after reading a previous comment on it), but tried coffee - it was really not good. But there are nice bakeries in town where you can have a breakfast - even cheaper.
There are wooden stairs leading to the rooms, they can be a bit noisy in the middle of the night, and the bathroom of the next room was just next to our bed, so we heard people having a shower at 5AM.
I would come back to this hotel anyway, it's the one of the cheapest you can get in Veszprém (at least close to the centre) and its quite OK for a budget hotel.

The hotel is 10-15 min. walk from the centre, you have to take stairs on the way, it's not much at all, but it can be a problem but if you have difficulties with walking.

Nice place for a few nights

We spent one night at the Ket Lotti which is in a nice turn-of-the century villa.  The place could be a very nice pension but it is ran very badly. There was only bad filter coffee or tea for breakfast, no fruit juices or water, and only a selection of sausages and salamis, no cheese or vegetables. There was some fruit jam though, and two kinds of bread. The room was nice and clean with a tv and a big, rather new ensuite bathroom. But the soap dispenser in our bathroom was empty and the bed frame was broken. The garden was very beautiful with flowers and shrubs and a swing for children, but some dog has fouled the grass. The lady running the house was nice, but seemed disinterested.
