It was amazing, employees in general were outstanding.  My son and I were very pleased with the accomodations. Every single employee were attentive with our demands.  I don't want to give them 5* but I will give them 5 💎.  Thank you for making our stay pleasant and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Las Rocas from January 6th to 13th. We loved the ambiance of the resort, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food and drinks in the restaurant. We loved our PADI diving course with Aaron.  In short, a superb stay that we will remember for a long time.

Great place to stay.  The food is very good.  The staff is very accommodating and the diving is a blast. If bad weather pops up the the dive shop will take you to the other side of the island to dive. It is a lot of work for them, but helps keep the divers diving which is much appreciated.

Loved this resort.  Loved the dive masters and all the staff.  We were at this resort for Tropical Storm Sara and still enjoyed every day.  Food was pretty good, cabins were clean and quiet.  Beach access was an easy short walk.   Staff was great at helping to set up excursions to popular attractions.

Las Rocas is the perfect place to stay in West Bay! I love that it was just steps from the famous and beautiful beach, but also tucked away from all of the action which made it feel more intimate and peaceful. Everything was lovely. Room was always clean and there was plenty of room for my husband and I. The restaurant was very good. We don't dive, so I can't speak to that but the dive center was always busy and the others that we met enjoyed their time with the dive team. It was nice that we could catch a water taxi to West End directly from the Las Rocas dock. I would stay here if I'm ever back in Roatan!

I have dove with Las Rocas 4 times now. I’m not certified and have only done discovery dives, but it has never been a disappointment!! The dive instructors are all very friendly and are very conscientious of your comfort and safety. We’ve seen countless parrot fish, turtles, eagle rays, trumpet fish, and so much more sea life!! Last time I visited was this month, but I’ve been diving there since 2021. I’m totally biased and love Paco as a diving instructor, but Aaron is also hilarious and Canadian. You can’t go wrong diving here!

Las Rocas was a great place to stay!  We will defineitly go back!   We loved its location.  It is tucked into a small, peaceful  jungle oasis, but just around the corner from the lively West Bay Beach.  It is also so easy to just walk out on the dock and catch a water taxi to West End. The dive shop is onsite and was excellent.  We had great communication with the staff before and during our stay. They helped us arrange a specialized dive and gave us good information about other fun land activities. The restaurant was also great.  We loved sitting on the deck by the water every morning and appreciated the availability of the "Early Bird" coffee station. The room was also great and we loved our balcony hammock with the view.  It was also a treat to see the Macaws in the trees and the cute Agoutis.  They also provided airport transportation which was a great bonus.  We highly recommend Las Rosas!

Great quiet spot with access to diving daily. Breakfast is included. The restaurant staff is super nice and accommodating. The dive boats on premises are excellent and affordable. Pick up and drop off to and from the airport was also included and very helpful.

Beautiful resort and delicious food. Our cabin was spacious and bed was comfortable. Highly recommend!!! We will be back😊 Their drinks were wonderful in the evening as as their breakfast options, simple but gratifying

I loved the laid back feeling of this resort, set apart from other resorts on the Bay with its own beach and dive center, restaurant and bar. Our bungalow had a wonderful view of the bay. Everyday maid service was great. Loved the fluffy white towels, always had plenty of hot water. The reception staff was so friendly and helpful, keeping valuables safe for us, accommodating us in booking rooms to extend our stay. The free shuttle to and from the airport was so appreciated.

Another day in paradise

If you're looking for a luxury resort, not for you. If you want a place to escape, relax, live in a basic bungalow in a jungle setting, enjoy the sunsets, dive center on site. 2 star accomodations, 5 star chill place, daily happy hour, great food. Breakfast included. Breakfast varies daily, not a menu. You get what they cook. Dinner pasta, seafood, burgers, pizza. I had lobster thermadore our last night. 5 minute walk to West End beach and restaurants.

Love this Place!

Extremely rustic diver's hotel.   We had a great time, the staff were exceptional with their personal touches, after a day or two we had been introduced to the majority of them and were on a first name basis.   The only issue was there were no chairs in the room, and we would have liked that.   Also, the bugs, the tropical insects are incessant and voracious.   I would have appreciated some help and a little forewarning about ensuring the no-see-ums and sand fleas didn't make a feast of me.

Las Rocas was a good place to stay in Roatan.  Central to West Bay and West End ( easy walk to West Bay, water taxi to west end ).

Rooms are clean , organized , a good bathroom with hot shower ( no t.v.).  Mini fridge is stocked with pepsi, 7up , water and local drinks and beer at a reasonable price.  A convenience store is located within walking distance on West Bay Beach - decent prices.  

Staff was fantastic from the restaurant , dive shop and reception.  Friendly with great service.  Housekeeping did a great job, with plenty of towels.  Reception would arrange any taxi's or excursions you would want.  I would recommend the sloths and the shark dive.

Restaurant had amazing food, and drinks.   They liked to pour the rum omg , get a monkey la la lol.  They do need a better coffee maker, not hot.  

Food at any restaurant from west end to west bay was the best i have had.  I would recommend Sandy Bunz and Gingers and Sundowners Bar in West End.  BanannaRama for Pizza ( omg ) and drinks also Beachers in West Bay.  Its true what is said about not going all inclusive in Roatan, the food is amazing.

The Dive Operation.
A Big shout out to Arron and "G" ( Katarina).  They made the dives memorable with there knowledge of the reefs, island and overall environment.  The dives were relaxing, and safe with something to see on every dive.  The dive shop was one of the better ones i have used in my 300 plus dives.  Captain Otto, lets not forget the boat captain.  Skilled , Knowledgeable and a keen fisherman, if anyone is going to Las Rocas please take some fishing lures for jigging to Otto.

Prices at dive shop were better than what i found in west end.  I would give the dive shop 5 stars and i would use them again.  The shop had rinse tanks and racks to hang the gear, was taken inside and locked up for security at the end of the day.  Any personal items were secured in the office while i was out diving.  I highly recommend the dive shop.

I recommend staying at Las Rocas Resort and Dive Center.


Scuba and Monkey La La's

Las Roca's was a fantastic place to stay in Roatan! It is centrally located between West Bay and West End really close to the best beaches on the island. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. The rooms are budget and could use some updating, but we didn't spend much time in the room. Housekeeping did  great job too. We felt very safe at all times. There is a security guard on property 24hrs a day.

The restaurant on property makes the BEST Pina Colada's on the beach! Believe me, we tried them all! The fish tacos are amazing too! Only grip might be better coffee..
I think the coffee maker was on the fritz.  Shout out to Sherel, Winston, and Devon at the bar! Staff at the front desk and dive staff too!  You can walk to west bay beach from the property and try all the restaurants and bars there too. We liked Bananrama, Babalus, and Grand Roatan at the end of the beach. Book a tour through Clifford in front of Bananarama. Get a water taxi to west end and have some fun at the Booty Barrrr and do some good shopping! Make sure to hold a sloth at Mayan jungle I fell in love with Alex!
You can dive or snorkel with the dive shop on property. We snorkeled near black rock off of West bay beach, blue channel, turtle crossing and it was stunning! 

Highly recommend staying at Las Roca's!

Snorkeling and Pina Colada's!

We came to Roatan for a month in January of 2023. We dove with the  dive shop here ran by Mirta. My wife took her open water course.  
We had such a great time. Their dive masters Paco, Erin, and Geraldine were all awesome.  So friendly and helpful and just so easy to get along with.  We couldn’t have asked for more. 
We had such a great vacation here and we will definitely be back.
