after 10 years and 13 times of visiting Skiathos I absolutley loved this place Pros - views - it is skithos in a view (we stayed in room 6) service - amazing - Eleni and the team were outstanding. after so many times on the island from staying to luxury resorts such as Elivi and Kassandra bay to the princess to the Agean suites to la Piscine in town the Alkyon - this cannnot be compared to - what i mean by that is it what it is in the middle of plakes overlooking Bourzti with amazing views and for a town guest house its the best in my opinion A great little breakfast view on the veranda - a 2 minute walk down some stairs leads to you the old port - or a slight incline will lead you to a 20 minute walk to the old port passing lots of restaurants with great views over looking the old port I would highly recommed this plkace for a town stay over ... greta , amazing and will return cons - I dont really think there is any unless you count the stairs and hill back up - but as a late 50's probabaly overweight too ... i found it ok - but if you are unsteady or have walking issues its probably not for you but thats it - just book book book
