We stayed at Aqua Vatos for a week in July and would highly recommend. As other reviews report, the rooms are fairly basic but we found the bed to be comfortable, shower excellent, AC brilliant and much needed, it had everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice, I loved the wee cheesy pastries made fresh every day and the scrambled egg was lovely too. It's not a full English but was plentiful and we found it to be fairly healthy. Delicious brown bread (fresh cut), fresh and tinned fruit, loveky greek yoghurt and feta. The pool area was very nice, pool bar opened at 11am each day and cheaper than most of the restaurants. 3.5 euros for a large Mythos Beer which we got to really like. Plenty of loungers by the pool both in the sun and in shaded areas (needed for the July sun). There were also floaty things for people to use provided. Staff were very helpful and lovely. The outside of the hotel is very pretty and painted in pastels with lots of flowers. Overall a very nice experience in a beautiful resort. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
