Hotel Vigla Apartments

Charming hotel with different types of apartments and amazing sea view.. You will love it. Well we even get a fantastic 2 rooms apartment with 2 of everything 2 fridge 2 freezer etc. The price is so much cheaper than many other places in the surrounding. Sophia, the owner and the manager is very nice person. She provided everything we asked for and she also gave us very nice suggestions for what to see in Kreta. The place is clean and they changed the sheets as well as the towels often. The cleaning should be done more often but I think the staff were in vacation for few days at our stay. Im sure that Sophia will make sure to correct this. Very quiet place as the hotel not located on the main road. However you are just one minute from the busstations to Xania as well as Xisamos. So if you don't plan to rent a car then you have many other options to choose among. Very nice and crystal clear water sea just a 300 meters from your room and it's worth it. Kalamaki beach is one of the best beaches we ever visit. Good to mention that it's very protected so even if it's windy then the waves is very limited. And the most important thing to mention that Kalamaki beach is a sand beach without stones ;0) There are few cafeterias on the beach and we liked the first one from the right side where only Greek people use to visit. Good to mention that the chairs is free and you can have them for you all the day, as compensation you only need to buy something from the cafeteria ;0) Dont miss the open markets in Xania and to visit the villages around. Good heart is good place to eat at in the village Afrata.  So if you simple person don't like 5 stars hotels and brand new furniture as well as you like to get in touch with real people from Kreta, then this place is the best you can get.  Sophia, thanks a million for everything and see you soon :0)
