The cleanliness, including the common bathrooms and bathrooms, leaves much to be desired. An unfriendly waitress in the morning and a decent breakfast but nothing more. We decided to have dinner the day before at the restaurant. Very friendly waitress and stunning view from the terrace, but an uncommonly generous and average kitchen, which is not justified by the high price.

It's very convenient.

Located in Sisco, Corsica, a bout 30 miles north of Bastia. This agrotourismo place is well worth a detour just for the food!  Served family style, everything is locally produced and the host is a chef by trade.  Local food specialities are served along with the local wines and spirits! We had fried beignets of goat cheese served with garden fresh Salads and , local sucking pig flambé with owners own myrtle liquor!  He also offers country style rooms.  It was so good we returned for our final night!  You will not regret coming here.

Well worth the detour

Very warm room. Noisy at night. We walk to it behind the restaurant through a maze of stairs with poorly maintained edges (brooks, branches, weeds). Terrace swept but the dead leaves remained in pile for 3 days! A parquet that had taken water and half rotten. Tiny bathroom with hand wash and no sink. Otherwise very clean and very good welcome of the lady for breakfast taken on the terrace. Beautiful view but in full sun in the morning and unrepaired ban store.

It's very disappointing.

The rooms are dirty (covers, bed bugs, worms on the courtyard), the mattresses are horrible, as a shower you will have a stinking plastic cabin, breakfast a cup of coffee and a few pieces of bread.

Where to Flee

We arrived at 8.30 am and were given coffee by the waitress serving breakfast.  We then explored the island and returned to Check in at 16.00.  The local chasse were celebrating their catch and we were invited to join their party.  A warm welcome.  Our room was basic, clean and fresh.  Bedding was clean and bed comfortable. 
En suite shower could have done with a bathmat to absorb overflow but we coped.
No hairdryer but again we managed without.
The evening meal was good value and well presented.  It was a friendly service.
Breakfast served either indoors or on the terrace overlooking the valley with a sea view.  We chose outside option.  Breakfast was copious with a selection of breads, jam, orange juice a choice of hot drink.
The hotel is a little tired and the garden could have done with pruning but it was the end if the season. There was a garden view from our room but a few steps to the private terrace or the roadside terrace give spectacular views.
It is a basic accommodation at a basic price.  If you want simplicity I recommend it.

Simple, welcoming stay, good value for money

Mountain location 15 minutes from the port of Bastia by a small road not obvious at night Hotel rather old on the side of the road with small room overlooking the road... and the bell tower We can say everything except guest rooms re qualified as low-end hotel to avoid, average breakfast with orange juice in a box and coffee powder We are on the verge of deceit by announcing guest room Having traveled all the way north of the corse, this type of accommodation does not honor the welcome and sympathy of the corse

Not a guest room at all

We came as a family before returning to the mainland... it was horrible!! Far from Bastia, a place unfriendly, nonexistent owner (he was called several times but never returned)

What to avoid!

The beds were of very poor quality, the matrasses seemed dirty, sheets were not fitting. No doors in the appartement, except for the toilet wich didn't flush properly. 
'Bathroom' was non-excisting: there was a shower placed in between the two bedrooms.
Not enough blankets and towels for 4 adults (3 in total). However, had there been blankets, I wouldn't have dared to use them: they were grubby, I really don't want to know what has happenen to them or for what purpose they were used... same goes for the towels!
Floor felt clean though. Didn't dare to look in the corners.
The appartment smelled a little bit of cats.
The staff wasn't very interested, so it seemed to me. 
Really, we are used to quit a lot and aren't that critical, but don't book this room. It's cheap, but so enormously not worth the money...

Terrible

Excellent panoramic and quiet location. Rooms accessible only by narrow stairs. Small, busy room with no air conditioning or ventilators. Bathroom of 1 square meter. In a nice complex. Comfortable for long stays. Good for one night. Wild parking on the street. There are only 2 restaurants within walking distance. Staff are not very Italian. Wi-Fi is not present in the rooms. Great breakfast with fresh coffee and freshly stirred baguettes with butter and marmalade. Breathtaking panorama.
