It's a very nice location but a room with a very low level of furniture, no charm, running water (noise at night).

It's a lot of potential, but...

When I read the many negative reviews written about this place, I went backwards. In terms of smell, it was acceptable except at the reception, the water from the javelin used a lot on Sunday morning. We had rented a studio. The furniture is outdated and some are threatening to fall. The worst thing is the poor condition of the windows with faulty joints and letting out fresh air. Good for the season. It's a shame because the historic building gives a seal but the lack of maintenance of the houses spoils. When in the restaurant, even if the card is minimalist, you eat well there.

Oh, that's too bad.

Large ground floor bedroom, bathroom with shower has extra Italian. In good weather possibility to use the garden in front of the room. The wind is always present, but from the top of the cliff it seems normal.

Very nice house, location on top of the cliff with exceptional views.

The place is wonderful and restful.....the extraordinary and unique setting....! And the kitchen.....?a gastronomic meal.Wonderful..!! the dishes are generous and generous, we discover flavours in the plate, and taste with each fork... From the glass served in the mouth, which is an explosion of flavours....to the dessert...a chocolate chip with a Benedictine ice cream.....this menu is extraordinary...!! Thank you for your hospitality, kindness and kindness of the waitress, a big thank you to the chef for the generosity and ingenuity of his dishes.

A wonderful and magical place......!!!

It's a shame to have such an exceptional location for such an outdated establishment. The shock of going back into the room: used carpet, old bathroom, rusty faucet, the radiator - grill-bread - didn't work and dirty, the towel door unfixed, the bed made with a blanket (which scratches).. in short, if you like the summary for 98€ this hotel is made for you.

To run away.

Yes the rooms are a bit small and the place could be updated. However, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Not in your face chasing corporate tripadvisor targets. The bed was very comfortable with clean and good quality sheets. The bathroom had a bath with hand held shower attachment. Nice quality shower gel. The bed was very comfortable and everyone in our party slept very well. The breakfast was good with lovely croissants and fresh fruits. Evening meal is as good as any restaurant. On the downside, it is almost impossible to get a taxi from the hotel to the town but that is not their fault. The place they recommend for dinner was excellent. The garden could do with a tidy as the grass has grown over the cobbles but if you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay then this is a good place to stay for a few days.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, pleasant staff and peaceful location

Afetr 21 years I came back to this hotel , and the location on the falaise of Fecamp is really emotioning .
Behind the hotel there is a view of the village and the seaside really nice . 
The rooms need to be refreshed and the claning is not the maximum , however the service is nice and the people kind and available to help guests . 
Very good the restaurant and the location is in the middle of silence.

Fantastic location

The hotel la ferme de la Chapelle, is located in a beautiful location on the Fecamp cliff right next to the church. It is in a fantastic location, immersed in the greenery of the pastures that plunge headlong on the sea, with horses and moons running free in the fields. Right next to the German anti-landing bunkers.

Nice location, but interiors...

The location of the hotel is excellent, the views from the cliff top behind the hotel are spectacular.   Unfortunately the hotel does not live up to the description on the website, we had a 4 person studio which to say was in need of modernization is an understatement.  The room was dirty, the beds were very uncomfortable and sagged in the middle, the bobbly blankets on them had definitely seen better days, and felt damp. The bathroom was horrible, the tiles had black mould, the flooring was coming up and the door would not close, wash basin, bath or toilet needed a very good clean.  The toiletries provided was a small bar of soap!  The kitchenette did not work at all and the glasses, plates etc were very dusty.

Location is excellent

The hotel's beautiful location near the lighthouse and the church of Notre-Dame-du-Salute (built in the XIV century, rebuilt in the XVII), the city center and the beach can be reached by footpath. The views from the hotel to the sea and the beach are stunning, the quiet, you can sleep with the windows open. The interesting, original hotel is located in the former monastery, with a swimming pool (without heating) and a beautiful garden.
