Krogsøgård Holiday House

Although we only stayed for a weekend, we loved this cute little cottage located on a family farm near both Skallerup and Hjørring and will definitely be back! Jytte, the host, is extremely welcoming and charming, and lives in the adjacent farmhouse with her family. The cottage is spacious and has all the amenties you would need to make your stay comfortable, including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. They also provide coffee and tea, sugar, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The welcome basket with a bottle of wine, chocolate and some goodies was very thoughtful. There are toys and games for the kids, but the best were the two very friendly cats who come and greet you each morning. The back pasture directly behind the house gives you a pleasant view of their milking cows. If you have kids, you are approximately a 5 minute drive from Skallerup Seaside Resort. For a fee, you will be allowed to use the indoor swimming pool, bowling alley and a large indoor gym/play area. There is a spa and an outdoor area that includes trampolines, a balancing course, tennis courts and a large playground. It is also close to the beach. Hjørring is about a 15 minute drive.
