Worst of all, they're not serious, they're disrespectful of the room, they're not hot water, they're too small, the noise doesn't stop and they don't tell the room's bankruptcies in advance, they don't respect reservations, they promise a room change and they don't keep it, they get to the room at 5 p.m. and only until they see me arrive remember that they have to organize my room, they know I don't have hot water and they never tell me.

What dishonesty...

It's a small hotel with very friendly staff, plenty of noise all night long, close to the historic center, no parking service, but close by there are several public car parks where you can park the car all day long.

Well, relative to the price.

The hotel manager or manager at dawn and night does not control the noise generated by the rooms.The hotel has a terrible acoustics that if you are delicate to sleep, I do not recommend this hotel.The service is good, there are no complaints, the rooms have what is needed.But my biggest complaint is that they allow the noise from the rooms at dawn.

Disorder in the Night

The price is cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. Its location is very good, as it is close to all places to visit. The rooms are small and the bathrooms too. The breakfast is modest, but it is in line with the money paid. There is no parking garage and in the area it is difficult to get parking garage for half a day (everyone wants to charge by the hour). For 1 or 2 nights is fine.

Comfortable, with possibilities for improvement.

Hotel with charm throughout the historic center, pleasant rooms very cozy and comfortable, Popayan is a very romantic city at night ideal for strolling with the couple, and this hotel by its location stands out, recommended.

The Lindo Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. 

The location is perfect - right inside the gate of old town. The hotel itself, is clean, modern and well looked after. Our room was nice, big bed, huge TV and en suite. Breakfast was home cooked for us downstairs - healthy and hearty. 

The only snag, is the karaoke bar next door that goes into the early hours. For the low price and high security, it's worth the compromise - just take earplugs.

Great find in old town.

Affordable good hotels are rather rare in Popayán, and this one is also not very cheap. However, if you travel alone and with only a backpack and do not have the right to a spacious room, then this tastefully furnished and well maintained hotel is a good address: for about 15 € there is a small room on the first floor where you can feel very comfortable (other prices in the same hotel are about twice as high). The bed is very comfortable in a niche, in the bathroom everything works best, and it is large enough.
