20 reviewshi i stayed at hotel la hormiga in bucaramanga , cheapest room we could get was 85000 pesos , aircon hot water exceptionally clean , quiet , and exceptionally friendly , helpful staff . nicely located next to La Isla for shopping , streetfood etc . busy in the night , about a 20 min. walk to cabacera or can take bus 1750 pesos , taxis vary between 4000 pesos and 6000 pesos depending on whether it s day or night . Lots of other hotels on the same block , can get a room at guarigua etc for 35000 pesos but don t have hot water . and beds . sheets etc are not of the same high quality of la hormiga . although staff are also ok .
