This hotel located very near to many places. metro subway very near to this hotel. by this metro easy visit furung mall. city center. orange park. the train station also become bus station. the hotel staffs also very helpful. good to have name of places you want to go in Chinese language. Overall this hotel is make youbeasy to reach most of popular places in changsha.

Located close to the railway station, just like the name suggests. Rooms were decently sized and clean, and the standard was good. No WiFi or computers available for guests, so had to use the Internet café just up the road. Helpful staff.

Cheap Hotel But Very Good Location

Nice standard

This is a low-price chain hotel located near the train station in Changsha. There are many shops and good restaurants nearby, metro connections, and a pleasant park to walk around. You're on the city's main street, and can easily access Orange Island and the west side of Changsha from here.

The hotel is in a modern style, with the usual budget chain stylings - neat but hard beds, modern bathroom with toiletries, some things for sale in the lobby downstairs. The staff don't speak English. You'll get a card pushed under your door in the early hours. The cleaning staff are friendly. It's not a place you'll need to spend any great length of time, so it's suitable for a brief stop in the city.

Good for one night

Like one previous reviewer found, they claimed to have no record of our booking despite me showing them a confirmation in Chinese. However, in our case they seemed to accept that we had paid already because they never asked for more money.

It's a cheap chain motel with a slightly odd vibe (fake marble decoration, prostitute card under the door of the room) but if you're just stopping over one night, as we were, it'll do. The room was what you'd expect of a chain. Decent bed and bathroom, if a little fragile. The sheets felt a bit damp, as if they'd not been left to dry long enough, while the surfaces seemed to have been given a cursory wipe down, not a proper clean. Still, if you're just collapsing exhausted into bed, not too much to worry about.

I had to get reception to set up the WiFi as the instructions were all in Chinese but it worked fine after that.

Oh, all the room numbers begin with 8 (lucky number in China) so if your room number begins 87 (like ours did), head to the seventh floor, not the eighth!

Odd place but adequate for a night

There is an airport bus that drops you off just a few blocks away.  That is very convenient, as you can avoid a taxi no problem. Note – there are several different airport buses – I don’t remember which one you need to take.  The hotel is located not too far from one of the train stations.  

Overall, the room was okay, a bit run down. I stayed on the 18th floor.  Wifi worked.  I was on a high floor and it offered views of the city (note – not much to see, but still nice to have views of the city).  

The big problem – was no English spoken at all.  Normally this does not bother me.  But I had prepurchased the room through expedia, and had my printout and confirmation numbers etc.  However, no one on the staff had ever seen an expedia reservation, and calling the manager did not help.  Someone staying at the hotel who spoke a bit of English and with the help of an online dictionary tried to explain my situation to the staff, but it did not help.  They did not honor my booking, but gave me a new room which I had to pay for.  Thus, I paid for the room twice (and since it was the day of my reservation, I could not cancel my expedia reservation online).
This certainly soured my experience at this hotel.  I don't see how they did not 

If you just show up, or make a phone reservation, I am sure the hotel will be fine (3 stars probably) for your needs as a fairly cheap option in the center.
