If you’re transiting through Changsha, this was an excellent cheap option. Nothing amazing, but totally adequate for one night, and super close to the airport, with a free shuttle. - Have to pay in cash on arrival, so make sure you have some yuan! (Withdraw at the airport, my Visa card at the Bank of China ATM got me a better rate than any of the exchange places). - They don’t speak any English, basically only communicated how much I owed them, when we’d be leaving in the morning, and what our room number was. - Good amenities (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc.), but our room didn’t have any towels. I didn’t actually ask if they had any available, as we’d arrived late, but might be good to be prepared. - Squatty-potty only!
