Excellent location and wonderful hosts. My room had actually a water view! Breakfast was delicious and very nicely presented.

Well appointed rooms in a lovely area walkable to much of what st.Andrews has to offer. Generous delicious breakfast lovingly prepared, very comfy bed. Loved exploring Ministers Island and Kingsbrae Gardens! Hope to return!

It’s a great location. Rooms have everything you need and it’s right next to Water street and the downtown wharf.  Good options for food downtown too.  Breakfast is included and it was delicious.

The room was not only comfortable, but absolutely beautiful. The breakfast makes most hotel breakfasts look bad.  It was delicious and as good as any top restaurant.

Loved the town of St Andrews.  Truly enjoyed the bed and breakfast.  Breakfast was delicious and we were able to see the tide come in from our room window.  I would highly recommend The Inn on Fredrick.

Owners were amazing!! Breakfast was included and a notch above breakfasts I have had elsewhere. They even asked if you have allergies or a special condition. Super clean. Comfortable room with huge bathroom. Location, location, location… is perfect. Would return in a heartbeat.

The Inn is lovely.  Full of charm and antique furniture with a gracious Host & Hostess.  Our room was spaceous, and equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge and a king-size bed.  The modern tub/shower and soft towels did not detract from the old-world charm of the bathroom.  TV and internet worked well.  The morning breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented.   The breakfast room was charming - with records playing on an antique Victrola record player.    The location was great.  We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to in St. Andrews.  The property is well maintained and has a lovely porch for sitting outdoors.  We would stay there again.

The inn is very charming! Beautifully decorated and very homey. Our room was very lovely! The innkeeper was so helpful and courteous. Honestly, when was the last time you had someone help you with your bags coming from the car and into your room? Our breakfast was extremely tasty and beautifully presented! The inn has a very nicely decorated dining room, which made our morning meal even more welcome! This establishment is one building away from water Street. We’re all the commercial activities are. Beautiful location!

About the nicest hosts you could ever meet!

Lovely antique-filled house in quaint downtown St Andrews. Easy walking distance to restaurants and whale tours. Our room had a very comfortable four-poster queen bed and other antiques. Very helpful hosts who provided restaurant suggestions (William and Water highly recommended) and delicious artistically-arranged breakfasts. 

Highly Recommended Beautiful Home in Downtown St Andrews

Stopped in to St. Andrews on way back from Maritime tour and got last available unit.   Clean and comfy room, very pleasant and helpful owners, breakfast was great and location is 1 block from all the shops and restaurants and beach. Lots of choice in town but this Inn was perfect and would stay again if in St. Andrews by the Sea.

We stayed five nights, switching rooms once because of reservation timing. The entire property is spotless and precision-organized by the owners, a couple from South Korea who live in another wing of the property.  The breakfasts are fantastic and beautifully presented in roughly three seatings between 8:30 and 9:30. Instead of taking the easy way out and offering a fixed or weekday-based menu, the owner Jon offers each guest a customized sequence of breakfast creations, based on the consecutive days of your stay, starting with the "signature dish" on your first morning. I've never seen this anywhere else! Accompanied by music from his selection of LPs playing on a turntable, with each table near a window, breakfast is a highlight. The rooms and beds are comfortable, charming, and fitted with every convenience. One tip in choosing rooms: if you are a very light or late sleeper, maybe avoid the rooms facing the market because of low level delivery noise in the mornings, but Jon alerted us of this in advance and it was not a problem for us. Otherwise the location and experience is perfect!

Lovely Bed and Breakfast. Perfect location right downtown walkable to restaurants and shops. Greeted personally by the hosts. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed!Breakfast was wonderful, prepared fresh for each guest, cooked and plated professionally, more than we could eat.Highly recommend!!

From checking in to checking out, the whole experience was wonderful.  The rooms are amazing, beds comfortable and the ambiance was something out of a history book.  Close to shopping, restaurants and walking distance to many attractions.  I almost forgot about the amazing breakfast..great way to start your day!!  Highly recommend and would definitely return to this B&B.  Thank you John for a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay... charming Inn. If you like modern this is not the place for you... this old house is full of antiques. The best part of our stay was the owner.. polite, friendly and charming. The breakfast included was very nice. A stress free stay for sure... close to the wharf, grocery store and boutiques. A

The Inn is absolutely charming!!! The owners were welcoming, the room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was convenient as it is one block off the Main Street of town! The Inn itself is very well kept up - lovely decor, in good repair and the breakfast room was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of tea- all at a competitive price point. Highly recommend this inn and look forward to returning in the future!
