Brigitte and her place were very nice and very charming. When we arrived Brigitte sat down with us and went over the maps for Quebec City and surrounding area and gave us recommendations for all sorts of activities. We enjoyed it all - the property, the rooms and beds, the breakfast (so thought out and good!). Overall a wonderful experience.

Bridgette was a helpful, affable hostess, and like Celine Dion, very lively, and spoke English well.  But even though there is a resemblance, no relation to Celine.  Oh well.  The home is very near Montmorency Falls, one of the main attractions of the area and the home itself is so charming.  Bridgette cooks up one heck of a breakfast.  So good.  Thanks Bridgette for saving my sweater as well.

Beautiful home with a stunning view over the St Laurent. Our bedroom was comfortable, the breakfast was very nice and different every morning, and the location was convenient for Québec city and for skiing near Sainte-Anne. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing worth mentioning is that check-in ends at 6pm (times vary according to the high/low season I believe but is not later than 6pm from what we could see). We didn't know this when we booked so just something to keep in mind when planning your transport there.

The hostess greeted us and made us feel welcome. She directed us to the nearby waterfalls, and a local restaurant. We had a great walk on the bridge above the falls. The next morning she served breakfast as if nothing was amiss even though she had earlier taken her daughter to the hospital with a medical problem. The view ot the river is superb form this B & B! Bridgette even made one muffin without blueberries after learning my wife could not eat berries. 

Convenient for bicycling as it is just off the bike trail and near Ile D'Orleans, which will eventually have a bike lane on the new bridge when it is built.  On the New France avenue, Avenue Royale, the Gite is a must for anyone wanting to see both Quebec Old City as well as the Quebec heritage outside the city, with home dating from the 1650's.

This B&B is at the perfect location if planning to visit the Ile d'Orleans or Montmorency Falls. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the guest area has excellent views of the river and Ile. The guest area is very clean and relaxed.
