Very spacious & accommodating the people were very nice

Great three bedroom town house.  Spacious kitchen and living room downstairs, three bedrooms upstairs.  The staff were friendly and efficient.  The rental office is next door to the units and shares space with Thompson Rental Car.  The next time I visit I plan to take a taxi from the airport and pick up a rental car next door the next day.  There is a resort with an excellent restaurant and tiki bar across the road and down a bit -- an easy walk.

Great and very spacious 2-level apartments with all amenities anyone would want. Very close (walking distance) to the Fish Fry, very short drive to the George Town.Short stroll to the beach via public access, however beach can be accessed through the small resort across the road.

Why not go to the wonderful island of Exumas next time. We did and we enjoyed every minute in the Bahamas. Our hosts were friendly and service-minded. Everything was great! We will come back!

We stayed here for 5 days. The location is excellent - across the road from a beach with the sea as blue and as warm as you could wish for and is virtually deserted most of the time. There is also a quiet family orientated bar by the beach which serves reasonably priced food, has games and plenty of beer when required.

The house was an excellent size - 7 of us were staying and there were 3 bedrooms, one with en suite. The sofa bed downstairs was fine, and plenty of linen and towels were available. The kitchen amenities were good, everything worked well (except the drier which was out of service so we had to dry clothes outside, but this was ok). 

The air con and wifi also worked well, although there were a couple of complaints from the lighter sleepers about the noise of the air con when it kicked in during the night - nothing major though. 

Overall a very good experience and excellent location to explore Exuma. We hired a car as we did several trips into George Town and up to the north and south of the island for boat trips etc. There is a driveway for parking and a car hire place next door. You can also use their kayaks for free - however we chose not to, due to a wasps nest having moved into them for the Summer!

Four of us were visiting Great Exuma so we stayed in a 2 bedroom condo at Sapphire Garden.  It was great to have laundry and a kitchen!  Location is right across the street from 3 different restaurants and about 1.5 miles from downtown.

Be prepared when you check in the hosts are not super friendly. That being said the place is in an excellent location and we really loved staying here. Its extra roomy and there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Full size living room and kitchen. You are within walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see and a wonderful restaurant right down the road. The town is a bit of a walk and you really do take your life into your own hands if you walk there. It isn't far but the roads are quite narrow. We found a taxi service. Be careful about the cost . We found that different drivers charge different amounts. Make sure you ask a couple how much they charge. There is no set rate and no way of knowing how much they will charge. They will match the prices of others though.

We stayed at this town house on our last trip to the Exumas. It isn't what most people would expect because it isn't what I would call "resort quality". But who cares. Its clean and really quite roomy. The office staff doesn't go out of their way to be welcoming and friendly but do you really care? We didn't spend alot of time in our room because we were doing things all day every day. The townhouse is located right across the street from one of the most fabulous white sand beaches you will ever see. Bonus: its  practically deserted. This is NOT a touristy location. There aren't families with screaming kids leaving garbage everywhere. Just some really chill people that mostly keep to themselves. It is walking distance to a local restaurant that feeds everybody. We are vegan so we had humongous servings of their peas and rice. There is also platanos and of course more rice and peas!! We didn't rent a car but took a cab to town and back every day. I recommend that you check prices PRIOR to getting your cab. As it turns out there is no real set price for anything and some cab drivers will charge you more than others. The townhouse is way bigger than we expected with two full bathrooms which is always quite handy. Go here and stay here. You will not regret it. Just don't be a whiny baby about having everything first class and handed to you-if that's your attitude than stay at the full service resort on the other end of the island. Leave the tranquil peace of this place to the regular people.

Excellent location!

Location location location!!

Provides a great stay for a small family.    Spacious, clean, quiet,.  All the comforts of home.  A kitchen stacked with dishes, seasonings, and cooking utensils.  I was able to prepare a hearty breakfast for my small family.  Wi Fi, close to the beach, a grill if you wanted to grill, and a beautiful relaxing view of the beach from the balcony.  Nearby restaurants and shopping was available, only stores close pretty early.  My husband and I would definitely stay here again.  You can rent a vehicle and see the entire island. Nice and relaxing.

Spacious and comfortable.

We had a very short (4 nights) but extremely pleasurable stay a Sapphire Gardens. We arrived after the grocery stores were closed and had been able to organize a few essentials to be available for us on arival - fantastic. The unit was well laye dout and felt like being at home. The location is ideal - a few steps from the beach and from several dining venues with a range of dining experiences. The 20 minute walk to town was easily doable, although a ride is available if preferred.We would easily return for a longer period of time.

Home away from home comfort

Great stay. Was only there for one night but the townhome was a nice typical Bahamas house. Highly recommended. Note- nothing in the Bahamas is 4 star US style accommodations outside a major resort. This is a great typical Bahamas place to stay with well stocked full kitchen and even washer/dryer in our room. I'll def be back.
