The stay was wonderful! We booked spontaneously and arrived at the country house shortly after the online booking. We were able to immediately get our room - a large apartment, two floors, kitchen, living room, bathroom, balcony and everything that the heart desires. In addition, the housewife was very, very friendly and had a good conversation with us. The breakfast was very tasty and generous! The cereal was prepared extra as desired ☺️ it was a great stay in a top location!

Spontaneous visit to Lake Aachen

Breakfast buffet is very rich, cleaning service is not perfect. Unfortunately, in the basement, there is no shoe heating, wireless, poor equipment for your own small meals.

The apartments at Landhaus Karvendel are typical of Tyrol, warm and comfortable. We find all the comforts and all the necessary equipment and they are impeccably maintained. The view from the balcony is gorgeous! The lake is only 150 metres away and the city centre is not far away. We keep a pleasant memory of our week here!

Very good country house with very clean rooms, very friendly staff very good breakfast with everything you can want for breakfast. It is also in a very nice position.

The hotel is located in the centre of the village.The reception and all services are very warm.All amenities: pool and wellness infrastructure are of high quality.The rooms are spacious and very clean.The five-course meals are both typical and sought-after.

It's been a very pleasant week.

A British couple in our 50’s, we found the following:
Pros – Centrally located 100 metres from the Archensee.  Attractive, traditional building. We were in a standard bedroom which was large, furnished in Tyrolean style and included sofa, seating, dining table, small fridge (plus crockery etc, so could eat takeaway), reasonable bathroom and nice  balcony. Room was kept spotlessly clean by the house staff ( the cleanest of any hotel room we stayed in during our tour of Germany and Austria this summer). Good quality continental breakfast, reasonable parking and reasonable pricing.  A decent place to stay in a beautiful location.
Cons – Very little English spoken, but you can get by with Schuldeutsch. Although friendly and helpful when asked, the proprietors seem to spend most of their time attending to their Austrian and German guests, so if you want to be part of the scene it is worth having a go at the language.
Other – The range of activities on your doorstep (golf, cycling, water based and walking) makes Pertisau one of the best places we’ve visited in Austria, but don’t expect much night life as it is more a collection of hotels than a village and a lot of entertainment seems hotel based. The nearest proper village is Maurach about 3 km away, easily accessible by car, local bus (free with your hotel guest card), or if you are feeling energetic, a lake side walk or cycle ! If you fancy a change from Tyrolean food, try dining at “Via Pasto”, a brilliant Italian restaurant only 5 mins walk from the guest house, just before you get to the Karwendel bahn  - they also do take away pizza.
