Good budget hotel option. Priced at the lower end of the range, we went went with low expectations. It was a little dated but had everything we needed for our one night stay through Portland. Conveniently located a short walk to the heart of town. 

Good budget accommodation 

A REASONABLE MOTEL AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF MOST AMENITIES. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE BUT INCLINED TO BE A BIT NOISY AT NIGHT. 
IT HAD ALL THE USUAL KITCHEN UTENSILS WE REQUIRED.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE, NOTHING SPECIAL BUT NOT BAD EITHER.

A REASONABLE PLACE TO STAY IN PORTLAND

We stayed here overnight and found the beds very comfortable and the motel very conveniently located, it was an easy walk to everything. The motel is located on the main road but we did not notice and street or traffic noise.

Comfortable Room

Excellent motel great position.  Manager Greg very knowledgeable and helpful and great staff.  Very comfortable and good value.  Stayed 3 nights and terrific everything in walking distance.  Highly recommended

Road Trip

Stayed 4 nights + 1 night for worker. Manager was never happy with anything, left plenty of notice (48hrs) on plan change and he winged, at 6:15pm office was closed so called and asked for a plate to eat my takeaway on and got a big sign and groan, I told him not to worry. Room was never made up and parking is bad. No shampoo or conditioner. 
Rooms are spacious and comfortable and it’s reasonably close to a great pub, that’s no all this place has going for it. 
My company will not be staying here again.

Poor service.

I have stayed here several times and find the rooms to be clean and tidy and spacious.  There is ample parking on the property and it is very close to the CBD.  OTR service station opposite is open 24 hrs.  Bill the owner/manager is always friendly.  The price is very reasonable compared to other properties in Portland.

Good rooms at a good price

Within minutes of walking into this DUMP we were on the phone trying desperately to get out. After driving 10 hours it was 9pm by the time we checked in so we had no option but to stay. Checked out 7.30 am following morning. The place is dirty, smelly, mouldy, dated and the owners are RUDE and unhelpful. When we complained the response was “oh well you can’t please everyone “ 
DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy sharing you stay with low lives and foul mouthed bogans. The owners have refused to refund any money.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

We booked an Apartment. The apartment was in fact 2 hotel rooms joined together with a shared (and very old) bathroom. Apartments have kitchens/ cooking facilities. This is false advertising. Who has shower curtains in 2020 ? Would not stay again or recommend. In major need of basic maintenance.

Atrocious 

This place was truely awful. From the minute we walked In the lady at the front office was disorganised and rude. Our room was extremely old and very dated. The curtains could only open quarter of the way and the noise from the road was very loud day, night and in the morning as a busy roundabout was right outside the door. The door opened onto the footpath beside the road. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable and the room had a musty smell when we walked in. Lightning was very minimal. This place is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Car parking is very tight. My advice -pay slightly more and stay elsewhere!

Payed for two stayed one

The motel is located in walking distance to the city centre and various shops, supermarkets, restaurant and cafes. The building is one of these boring regional brick motels, and looks unappealing. It is located next to a roundabout that gets quite busy and noisy in the early morning hours. There are two types of rooms in this motel, the cheap ones are dated and worn, the more expensive ones are the recently renovated ones. I stayed in one of the new ones and it was nice and modern, with a small bathroom. My room had a frenchdoor opening directly onto the footpath on one of the main streets of Portland - the glass doors were the only thing separating me from anybody walking on the footpath, which I found a little unsettling. The breakfast offered by the motel is pretty ordinary. All said, it was clean, my room was modern, there was free carpark so it was value for money. Next time I'm in Portland, however, I'll spend an exrta $10 and stay somewhere else.
