Pretty complete in terms of facilities and amenities. The fireplace is a great touch, bathroom was beautiful and even board/card games are in supply! We made use of the tennis courts too. A fantastic picturesque view of the mountain areas from the cabins complete its features.Great for a couples getaway where you want to be away from noise. Just come with a small food shop prepared! Only slight pitfall is location is a bit of a drive from the main tourist blue mountains area. But there are plenty of other walks and scenic views in shorter reach, e.g. Hassans Wall, and the town if Lithgow. A detailed guide is provided by the hosts. A car is essential for this venue.

We came back to Seclusions 8 years after our first visit and we are still really happy with the accommodation and friendly staff. Views are absolutely gorgeous.will definitely be back again. Thank you

Russell and Malynda were extremely helpful with my booking despite having a wedding event they were organising the same week. The cabins were gorgeous (and so clean) and definitely had that luxury touch. It was amazing to come into the cabin with a beautifully scented pre-lit candle and the gas-fire already going. We felt relaxed as soon as we stepped foot. The food hampers were delicious and generous sizes giving definite value for money. We really enjoyed cooking on the balcony with such serenity and amazing views. They even let us join in on their first Pinot & Picasso event which was great fun and felt well looked after. We walked 200m from our cabin and set up a picnic and still felt like we were the only people for miles. Overall an 11/10 and such a perfect place for a special occasion to just feel connected.

We booked Seclusion’s for our one year wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. It is the perfect secluded, quiet and romantic cabin getaway. Russ & Malynda have done a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed and more, the fire was lit when we arrived along with a personalised note and chocolates. The views from the cabins are beautiful as is the property. I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough! 

Stayed here for a 1 night getaway with my wife on 17 June and we were pleasantly surprised with this place. It’s a great little cabin setup cosy fireplace in a relaxing setting, Beatuifull surrounds, we will definitely be back to stay longer next time. We went to the Crib room restaurant (at the Black Gold Motel Wallerawang) about 19min drive from our cabin) for dinner (try the homemade pork spring rolls!) it was awesome highly recommend both places! Hosts were friendly and informative.

The cabins are the perfect blend of coziness and charm creating the perfect atmosphere for romance and relaxation. You will fall in love as soon as you walk in and will not want to leave! I will definitely be back again!

Attending a wedding on a cold wet foggy mountain top was fraught with danger but this venue pulled it off with all the bells and whistles. From the fabulous staff, to the great food everything was perfect in this extraordinary location. It offers a selection of buildings that have the country charm and feel with out being cliche, and the food and service that beat many inner city locations. Serviced by both onsite accomodation and the amenities of Lithgow just down the road, it’s was a great place to have been invite to visit.

Property was stunning and the staff were amazing and very helpful! Will definitely be back !

We had our daughters wedding here over the weekend and the owners have created the most beautiful venue backed up by first rate service and attention from them. The property was manicured, the set up in the reception area was spot on, the general areas were perfect for mixing, mingling, talking, drinking.  The area where we held the ceremony was remarkable. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue - it allowed everyone to have the time of their lives and the consensus amongst the guests about the venue was that is was perfect.

Had my sons wedding here in the first week of December. The venue itself is magnificent with views across the rolling hills to Lake Lyell and the peace and serenity of the location. The venue is set up extremely well with seperate areas for the sit down reception and then another for dancing and socializing. The layout for the ceremony was simple yet special. Having an old caravan as the point  to serve the alcohol was a quaint touch. The staff and owners were fabulous and made sure everything ran super smoothly. Big call out to the team who set the reception area up, it was Harry Potter theme and they nailed it! The food was delicious and well presented. I understand why this place is so popular and despite it being a few minutes out of town, it is absolutely worth it.

Stayed overnight in one of the onsite cabins with so called luxury inclusions.
Bed was indeed luxurious, heating very good with a flued gas heater, but the cabin itself was a little underwhelming, as were the 'inclusions'.

Bacon, eggs and muffins in the fridge for breakfast and what are apparently high quality toiletries, the bulk of which we didn't use, were I think, the 'ìnclusions'

The cabins are looking a bit shabby, and furnishings minimal, as are cups and cutlery.

No fresh milk or even plunger coffee on offer, just coffee bags and ghastly full cream UHT milk.

I reckon real vs UHT milk, and good quality  coffee provisions separate the good from the great. This place is good, sure not great though.

Shabby not chic.

Really nice wedding venue. Catered for approx 100 guests without issue. Photo opportunities at this place highlight a memorable day. Outdoor and under cover areas had plenty of room. Staff were all great. Plan your event because there is limited accommodation on site but just 20 minutes from good accommodation at Lithgow (e.g. Zigzag Motel). Note that the last part of the road in is unsealed and subject to ruts and potholes but an average car can get through ok if you take it easy. There is some parking on site and some wedding guests arrived via minibus.

Rough road in but worth the trip

The cabins were warm and inviting with pre-lit candle. A relaxing environment.   I noticed other reviews referred to delicious hampers, generous sizes, chocolates.  Our hamper consisted of a container with 2 muffins, 2 eggs and bacon.  Not what we were expecting for this type of venue.  Also whilst beautful brands of shampoo, conditioner, wash products were available I found it odd that no body lotion was included.  For the cost of accommodation one would expect better.  However the location, scenery is beautiful.

The log cabins are well spaced and set high for great vistas across the countryside. Such a peaceful location.  Our cabin was very well equipped and had everything we needed.  Comfy bed and lovely bath towels in the large bathroom.  The gas fire was lovely and toasty after being out in the wet weather all day.  Our only criticisms were there was nowhere to unpack and store provisions in a very cramped kitchen.  We would have liked to meet one of the owners  to personalise our visit - a note is nice and better than nothing but a smiling welcome would be great.
