My mother & I enjoyed the apartment's open planned, and bright living/kitchen areas. The private balcony was nice as well. (Great indoor/outdoor flow).  The  beds were reasonably comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy. Great location; not too close to busy road, and walks and shops nearby. Nice afternoon sun in the lounge area late afternoon. Nice wooden floors; warmer than cold tiles. Spacious main bedroom. (There are a flight of steps outside, to this apartment). Has air conditioning/heat pump.
What we didn't like was the possum that woke us up most nights. Two down lights were loose after the possum scampered around in the ceiling. After contacting La Loft, a couple of days later, there was a ladder into an outside manhole, but the possum remained. By day 7, on the early morning of our departure, we saw the possum jump from the tree, on to the roof, and scamper along and into the ceiling! Also the bathroom basin was blocked and wouldn't drain quick enough. There was also a slight leak in the fridge, which dripped water onto the lower shelves occasionally. No wardrobe in one of the bedrooms, so the clothes airer was a good idea in which I hung clothes from hangers on it. 
Overall, an enjoyable stay, and we would stay again, if the slight problems were resolved. Great having free wifi there!

Nice Apartment - Good Location

We stayed here last week & it was our 3rd visit. Very conveniently located to city and close to supermarkets and eateries. The checking in & out process was very easy and the managers were very helpful. We stayed with our children aged 4 & 2 and it was the perfect size for our family. Highly recommend and we will stay again!

Great value for money

Overall our stay was ok. 
The apartment has many great features:fully equipped kitchen and laundry-spacious kitchen/meals/lounge area and a tv in the bedroom-location is very good too-close to shops and city. It is also very secure. 
Cons: the beds are very hard-so much so I didn't have one good nights sleep! The doonas need washing,especially in the kids rooms. The apartment needs painting as paint is chipping off and stains are throughout. Parking is an issue if you don't like street parking. There are more units than car spaces. With some updating and TLC, and news mattresses, this apartment would be ideal! 

Ok-needs TLC 

Staying here for the first time I was a first impressed when walking in to be very disappointed.  TV didn't work got the cable changed this didn't resolve the issue of it freezing and becoming distorted. Beds are very hard and terrible pillows. My biggest issue was the apartment above mine has timber flooring combine this with two children running around made working and sleeping impossible. This was an unpleasant stay with the constant noise from the above appartments. Not that the above apparent flicking cigarette butts into my court yard was any better. I would recommend only booking the second story apartment. Car parking is extremely tight and really only for small cars. 

Never book a bottom room

Recently stayed on our first visit to Adelaide. The apartment itself was lovely and clean but inadequately cooled (we were there during the fires, 43+ degrees); it would have been nice to have fans for the bedrooms as the nights were still very hot. There was also a few maintenance issues - the bathroom door did not shut and we had to prop it closed with a bin; the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work; the range hood over the stove would fall off if you tried to open it; the oven light was broken which made checking food difficult at night; and as with the other reviewer, I was staying 7 nights but had no tea towel or sponge, 1 dishwasher tablet and about 10mls of dishwashing liquid and 1 roll of toilet paper. (I also waylaid a cleaner the next day to obtain supplies). It would be helpful if they had a system where basic items were checked off at the end of each stay - there was no vegetable peeler or bottle opener and whilst there was a can opener, it took me 25 minutes to open a can, with the help of a knife. Basic salt and pepper etc and fly screens (mosquitoes were savage!) would be nice too. Apart from this, the apartments are lovely, in a nice quiet leafy back street. There is a big Foodlands supermarket about a 5 minute walk away, with a large Safeway shopping complex across the road from it (be aware, shops like these close at 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays in Adelaide). Check in was easy, I phoned the number provided upon landing and they were at the apartment to meet me. Very convenient to the city and several restaurants within walking distance. I would definately stay here again, and hope that the small details I and other reviewers have commented on are taken seriously and addressed which would make these apartments outstanding value.
