They only had two rooms booked while I was there, which should tell you something.  Yes, it is right on the water but there are small boats with outboard motors going by early in the morning so good luck sleeping.  The fumes from these boats drift into the lower level rooms so DO NOT stay in these rooms.  I asked to change because the fumes were making me sick and they charged my an extra 30%!!!  There was no reason to charge as I changed after my room was cleaned but before I had even gone back in so it didn't need to be cleaned again.

Not worth the price

It's a little tired, the staff doesn't speak much English, but it's nice to have a nice view in the evenings, not bad drinks and cocktails, not bad ice cream.

My boyfriend and I didn't stay here but we had a snack at the restaurant, and also rented a bike here to ride around the island for a day. We needed to go back to HCMC and asked the reception staff for assistance. Even though they were not very fluent in English, they really tried very hard and helped us so much in our journey. Warm and friendly, I think the staff quality is amazing here. Thank you so much ladies!

Great reception service staff

Oh my goodness. Only booked for one night, as just a quick visit to swim in the sea, etc. This hotel is fantastic from many aspects. Price is so cheap for what you get and the location. About 2 mins walk from the Hydrofoil dock - no need for a taxi. Also, its close to the centre of this part of the coast, so you can walk, as I did, to bars, discos, food places, etc.
But, the most important feature, if, like me you come from a nautical heritage, its actually on the water. My suite, 103, is in the centre of the seaward side. I could literally fish from any and all of my windows. What a view, the beast sea view I have ever had in 30 years of travelling.
The place is a little warn, but renovations are happening right now - and not intrusive. Staff were just so helpful with directions and info. There is lovely food and music downstairs. I could go on and on. The place at night is lit up like a landed flying saucer - looks fantastic, and all for such a low price. I will be going back - many times.

Midblowing for the money.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful.  It’s really hard to find the hotel based on the address.  I’ve learned that beside 150 Ha long one need to pay attention to "Ward".  It’s located on the same side as the Express boat station.  From the Express boat station make a right and walk about 200m.
It’s a seaside hotel.  The view was spectacular.
There were many temples near by the hotel within walking distance.
Breakfast had limit selection;.  The Vietnamese coffee was great.
The room has Chinese flare in term of decoration.  It’s nice but things look kind of worn out.  It’s nice to have a sauna inside the room but when I tried to use the sauna lot of dirty black stuff from the jet spit out, so disgusting so I couldn’t use the sauna.

Seaside hotel

We stayed at the hotel for 9 days,booked through booking.com What we didn't like: 1. Near the hotel - a club. Loud music is very much heard until 1 o'clock at night. 2. Far away is the beach. Take a taxi 10 minutes. 3. Breakfast was included, but uniform. Only eggshells, bread and coffee. Food in a regular cafe with local visitors. That is long service. 4. The staff doesn't know English. They promised to arrange a transfer from the airport, but didn't arrange. 5. On departure they didn't hand over $50 when paying for the room.
