28 reviewsEmis is a place built with love. The owners have renovated and designed everything you see here over time, which gives it a unique ‘home away from home’ feeling. The location is central, making it a good base to explore the island from. At Emis they go out of their way to help their guests plan the perfect trip with their in-depth knowledge of the island and years of experience in the industry. There is a wonderful menu to choose from each day for breakfast and lunch, with ingredients bought fresh from the market every morning. I highly recommend trying the Vietnamese dishes and their barbecue. The Emis barbecue is a wonderful experience of food, Vietnamese culture and an opportunity to meet fascinating people. I have made some friends for life around these fires. On a warm summers night there is often a bonfire to be enjoyed. Whether you are on the island for a short holiday or staying for a few months, Emis will happily accommodate you. I will absolutely be back to visit in the future. Thank you Emis, I love you! 😘
