There's no sign, the neighbors don't know there's a hotel like this, and when they found it, it turned out that the room they booked wasn't, they offered to stay outdoors.

It's very bad.

It's hard to imagine anything worse. The service is weak, instead of the ordered sparkling beer, they brought a bottle (though it was specially ordered). The shrimps on the grill are very mediocre. The beef steak was obviously prepared in advance and warmed up before serving. But the worst was the lamb on the grill: two pieces of bone with carcasses under some mysterious sauce. Nothing more disgusting has ever been eaten anywhere.

It's a disgusting restaurant.

We ate there twice and both times had very good food. The fried noodles and crab are delicious. Also the shrimp  spring  rolls. The staff did not speak much English, but were delightful after Google translate was used.

Great seafood restaurant

Good value vs price, excellent view in most of the rooms (facing the sea). Hotel is located in the Cat Ba's touristic area full of nice restaurants (try Tom's, you won't regret it). Bed could be a little bit softer.

Nice view, close everywhere

My opinion will only be on the restaurant because I haven't stayed in this hotel. But the dishes are delicious! The portion of fried rice was huge, the drinks were cheap. I started chatting with the manager and sympathetic to him and to his employees. The staff were very kind to me. So I decided to book my tour of Halong Bay in this hotel, and everything was just magical. After that, the manager made a party meal, and invited us to try out the various local specialties. We talked to the kids and it was a truly human and magical experience. Basically, on the best memories of my trip. Before we left Vietnam, we took pictures with the manager, and unforgettable photos of the staff at the heart of the throne, and a heartfelt thank you to the staff for the unforgettable experience of the throne!

The room was clean and the view great but bed was a bit hard. Breakfast was average with not so good coffee, but it is a good value for the money you pay. Corridors stank of smoke and the smoke stench was constantly in our room. Later I discovered that even the staff smoked there. When I wanted to check out, the worker there was chilling with his buddies and didn't pay any attention. When he finally saw me, he did not bother to throw his cigarette away and blew the cigarette smoke right at my face... Also I asked them to do laundry the day before but when they returned the clothes, they still remained wet. The staff insisted that they were ok, but I demanded them to let the clothes dry a bit more as they were obviously not dry. Also we paid a bit extra for the wet and heavier laundry and after, when the laundry was dry, they refused to re-weigh it.

Horrible attitude from the staff

We had a nice spacious room with a balcony (big enough to fit 2 chairs and a table) facing the boulevard. We had room 303 and paid 9 dollar a night. Breakfast (included) was just right, you can choose between bread with egg, noodle soup, pancakes, coffee and tea. The owner speaks English and is very helpful! Only downside was that the bathroom stunk a little during the mornings (and only then). However, it looked very clean! 

Great stay in the center of Cat Ba 

View is nice that's about it. 
The bed was hard as a rock. The bathroom stunk. The hot water in the shower lasted about a minute till it went freezing cold. There was ants everywhere.. on the floor, on the walls, even in our BREAKFAST!!

We paid $9 for a room with two beds and a balcony. The room had excellent air conditioning, a fan, a TV and a refrigerator. The fridge had a welcome drink called Sprite. The balcony offers views of the waterfront and the bay, there are also tables and chairs on the balcony.. The owner of the hotel is very hospitable and friendly. You can rent bikes at $4 a day...

It's a great hotel for its price.

For 200000d with breakfast included and with terrace it is very good. The view is beautiful, the rooms are clean and it is close to the centre! Really a convenient address even if sometimes the wifi leaves you wanting. Unitrip.fr
