Ramona Motel

This review will be quite frank, and very detailed. So I had absolutely no intention of staying at this place. I had booked a Comfort Inn hotel in Downton Miami (Port of Miami specifically), but the nice folk at Expedia decided not to tell me that I have to be 21 to get a hotel in Florida (which is actually not true, the clerk just lied to my face). So I ended up in a predicament where I needed to find a motel ASAP that would not care in the slightest about my age, and would give me a room instantaneously no questions asked. I tried a motel closer to downtown, but it got shot up so it was closed. This was the second closest option, so I ended up staying two nights here. The neighborhood is in a pretty inconvenient place, 2 miles west of Little Havana, near the airport (loud as h - e- double hockey stick), but honestly they probably laced the bed with horse tranquilizer cause I slept right through all of that. That's a joke, but it is kind of concerning how comfy that bed is. Smells like grandma in a good way. Slept 15 hours. Swear the owner mentioned breakfast when I got there, his English was kind of broken, so maybe he was just alluding to breakfast places in the area, but eventually after enough bargaining he gave up his apple. (poggers). DO NOT GO FOR A WALK AT NIGHT AROUND THE MOTEL, NOT ENJOYABLE. Very clean, like actually suprisingly clean. No english channels on the TV, but the telenovelas dont really require a degree in Spanish so to say. Everyone's really nice. Housekeeping came in at like 2 pm the first day to clean, I simply said Estoy Durmiendo, and they picked up on my desire to be left alone. VERY POWERFUL SHOWER relaxing painful after 10 minutes. I dont know what was in the conditioner, it was some brand called ocean, takes about 5 minutes to kick in. The bed was comfortable, room smelled nice, everyone minded their business and was nice. Also a very spacious hotel room, has like 3 mini rooms in it (bath, bed, office/dining). Whoever took the pictures didn't do it justice AC works fine, wifi is a little slow, but whatever. Shelby doesnt know how to read a map, dont listen to her review. This isnt anywhere near the beach though. It's about a ten minute drive downtown, 15 to Miami Beach (3.8 miles, 6ish miles, respectively) CVS and Publix nearby, dont walk to that convenience store Apple Maps says to, its drive thru only. Basically, you get what you pay for. Would recommend. Love, a respectful customer.
