Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air.  Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had.  5* for me.I would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was lovely. Nice easy check in too.

Check in service was very flexible and the phone staff and Paul were extremely helpful and made our late arrival stress free.. The room was comfortable and clean but a bit dated & unfortunately the toilet seat was very stained and gave an initial impression that the toilet was dirty so would suggest replacing as soon as they can.. Breakfast options as suggestion for Children/teenagers could offer Pancakes .. Area is very quiet at night where the rooms are and plenty of amenities locally

Staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Superb english fry.Room big, airy and spotlessly clean. Very quiet even though incorporated into a pub. Would definately recommend.

The room we were given was very clean and comfortable for our 2night stay at Truro. It was also very convenient with free parking and easy access to local amenities. The breakfast was very delicious, and we had good vegetarian and vegan options. The staff was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and lovely.

Lovely inn,good food,bedroom was big and airy,but one of the pillows was mouldy,we had to leave before cooked breakfast,but the lad was very helpful,and we had takeaway bacon baps,nothing was too much trouble

This property was ok for an overnight stay, however not in walking distance to the town.

Good and value for money. breakfast included. you have climb some stairs as hotel is located on rooftop of restaurant.

It was an amazing experience, the room was   So spacious and comfortable, the service was top notch. We enjoyed every meals we had..Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again😊😊

Excellent service, good pub food, free parking

A very pleasant surprise.  From the moment we arrived and the very friendly and helpful check-in, to the decent sized room and beds. to the friendly service and food quality for breakfast I have nothing to complain about.Was told that the bar would shut down at 11 so not to worry about noise from the bar, which was appreciated

As a family of 4 adilts we stayed in a nice room with 2 double beds and a shower room. Price was great value for money and included breakfast. Beds were really comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant (carvery). We only needed to stay for 1 night and it was petfect for us. Staff were excellent.

Would recommend this B & B. We had food in the evening in the restaurant. It was really nice and highly recommend.However for me, the breakfast was the best I have tasted in a long time.Rooms could do with a little TLC but they were perfectly fine for our stay.Staff was very friendly.Overall I would stay again with my family.

Expected more of a hotel as opposed to B and B. Chose the room because it stated it had three double beds and therefore expected space and more separation. Did not have 3 beds. Once over that and settled into the place I found it to be fine. The staff are great and the breakfast was delivered superbly.

Had a great stay here for a couple nights. On arrival we found free/easy plentiful parking facilities followed by a very simple/no hassle check in process and friendly welcome (we were shown to our room in 2 minutes!!). Very clean/fresh/well equipped room with 2 comfortable double beds (only small gripe would be that room was a little hot and couldn't open fixed window). Pub itself also very clean inside and out, plenty of friendly/helpful staff on hand in all areas at all times and food was lovely (wish we could of sampled more off the menu but breakfasts and curries we did have were great). Location was good, easy to find with a large Co-op supermarket right next door and generally very quiet. Will defo return if in the area again, great value for overall quality...9/10.

Great value B&B near Truro offers all you need.

The staff are really friendly, breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food,, we had a meal the firs night and it was lovely the car very looked amazing we could see some of the customers meals all of which looked good,only problem we had was the room was a small, we were there for a week ,the TV was on the wall and when we made tea we would keep hitting our head we hung a cloth on the side of the tv ,, also because of the way the beds were were we kept banging our toes on the leg “really painful Got the bruising to prove it”we were there for a week so really would have liked the room to have been bigger for us,

Great room, spacious, clean, the only comment I’d say about the room was the amount of towels per person, 3 bales 5 people staying. The same with the mugs for tea/coffee, there were only 2. The walls seem thin as we had a lot of knocking from the next room suggesting we were too loud (at 10pm) we were just chatting with tv in quietly, however this could be the other guests being too fussy. The breakfast was great! Price was excellent too! Very minor things and over all deserve their 4 star.

Nice pleasant stay

Room was clean, as was the bathroom. Sadly no view from bedroom window and lots of noise from the bar below. I ate in the pub in the evening which was superb. Lots of choice and good value for money, the breakfast was also delicious. Overall, a good stay made even better by the staff who were very friendly and attentive.
