I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service my wife and I received from Brahim this past weekend. The London Marathon had unexpectedly caused numerous road closures, throwing central London into chaos and threatening our ability to get to Heathrow for our flight home to the US. The hotel lobby was full of anxious guests, unable to get a taxi for hours. When we asked Brahim for help, he calmly assured us he would figure something out. He called a friend willing to navigate the closures, and then — in an act of true dedication — he and a colleague walked with us and our four suitcases five blocks through the marathon route to reach the waiting taxi. Thanks to him, we made our flight. That, ladies and gentlemen, is real service. I’ll leave aside the fact that the hotel itself is an absolute gem — perfectly located amid high-end shops, excellent restaurants, and top tourist sites. It has a unique charm: posh yet friendly, without the usual English stuffiness. When a business has staff who care about their guests at this level, they’re offering something far beyond just a place to stay.
