A lovely homely hotel. Room immaculate, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, tea and coffee in room, free wifi. Breakfast delicious and cooked to order plus cereals etc. Some parking on drive.  But the best are the owners, Sharon and Brad, so welcoming and helpful. Would recommend and visit again. Thank you.

This was our second visit but not our last,Sharon  & Brad excellent hosts.Lovely breakfast,clean comfortable rooms and excellent price.  free parking.Great location for peasholm pak,north bay and open air events,,walking distance to many,many pubs

We've just got back from having another great weekend staying at the Ashcroft, as usual Brad and Sharon were most welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Ashcroft is very clean and well maintained, the double room we had was well sized and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good as usual. A nice personal touch was a birthday card at breakfast as they remembered my birthday from when we stayed previously. We have already booked in again for next August and would highly recommend staying at the Ashcroft

My wife and I visited the Ashcroft hotel with my son and daughter in law from the 16th to the 18h of August a trip which we do each year and this is the second year we have stayed there both Brad and Sharon are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble for them,the rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast excellent we thoroughly enjoyed staying there so much so we have booked for next year.

I have read an adverse review about the hotel and all I can think of is that these people have got the wrong place.

Fab location, great room with a comfy bed, breakfast was very scrummy and the hosts are fabulous, nothing too much trouble, very friendly and welcoming. We love Scarborough and we will certainly visit again.

We've just returned from a six night stay at the Ashcroft, it was a most enjoyable stay and my twelve year old son cried this morning when we said goodbye.
Even though we had only been there for six days in that time we found Brad and Sharon to be so friendly, helpful and kind.
The rooms, service, breakfast etc are all excellent but the best quality this bed and breakfast has to offer are the people that run it with such dedication to their guests.
