We have just returned from a mini break to Cornwall, where we had decided to base ourselves at Rosewyn. And we are so happy with the decision we made.

The location, Summercourt, was extremely convenient for our planned excursions to Port Isaac and to Falmouth.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the shower temperature was… controllable!

But best of all, was the owner, Andree. Nothing was to much for her to ensure we were comfortable, even swapping a cooked breakfast for a packed meal when we had an early start planned. 

Really can not recommend this B&B highly enough

Recently spent 2 nights at this superb B&B.  Andree, the lady in charge, cannot do enough for you.  
The bedrooms are super; there are tea and coffee makings with 2 packets of crisps and 2 packets of biscuits .  You even get fresh milk in the small fridge in your room.  You want more of anything, it will be provided.
The bathroom was clean and well appointed.  Lovely soft towels.
The breakfast; from the fresh fruit, homemade yughurt, homemade pastries, to the full english/cornish feast is incredible.  You don't want something, don't fret, just ask and it will be left out.  If you can't manage the pastries, Andree will even give you a bag to take them away with you.
There's a hot tub and indoor gym equipment for all guests to use.
The Farmhouse is only an hour from anywhere in Cornwall, so perfectly situated.
We will definitely be using this lovely place again.

My Wife and I stayed in Rosewyn Farmhouse last week for 4 days. Could not have asked for more, Great location and wonderful service. Breakfast was a delight and the home made Jam and Yogurt was very special and not to be missed. We found the host to be so welcoming and friendly and made our stay an absolute pleasure.We will definately return when visiting Cornwall again.

Rosewyn is centrally located in Newquay and perfect for visiting both coast lines, all the attractions, villages and beaches, half hour away from the Eden Project, a must visit.  The beds were comfy, perfect for 4 friends (two rooms), very private, hot tub at the end of a long day cycling and probably the best breakfast and homemade yogurt you will ever taste.  All homegrown.  Andree knows how to look after you and there isn't much she doesn't know about Cornwall, the best places to eat and drink, the best places to visit and the places not to visit at certain times.

I chose “Rosewyn” for the location, and as proved to be it was an excellent choice as a base, with ease and accessibility to the whole of Cornwall.
Such convenience can sometimes come with disappointments - and often it is the accomodation... Not so with Rosewyn.
We arrived, were greeted, made immediately comfortably at ease without fuss - and from which point things just got better and better.
Our hostess Andre is a natural fit.   She takes great pride in what she does, and it is obvious everywhere you look.  The lovely comfy rooms, excellent bathrooms, the exceptional level of cleanliness - suites are cleaned daily - snacks and toiletries  constantly replenished, all of which makes for a very comfortable stay.
The location is quiet, safe, snug and just plain beautiful, with uninterrupted views of a rolling countryside.  Gardens, lawns and vegetable plots all combine to engender a happy, easy calmness.
Andre’s knowledge of Cornwall is thorough.  Whatever is required, she can advise - from local heritage houses - make sure you visit St Anthony’s - to beaches, sights, museums, food, towns and quiet places, she knows and shares her knowledge readily.

Much has already been said in review of Andre’s breakfasts;  all we can add is our praise.  We are both cooks and appreciate a fine table.  Andre’s is just that.  The very freshest; including her own honey and jams, eggs and sausages, breads and pastries, and all made daily.  Class, skill and attention to detail - as in every aspect of this exceptional “house”.
As can be said of all Cornwall, the Summercourt area has deep roots in history.  Visit St Enoder’s church -  just down the road.  Christian from the 5th century, but almost certainly a gathering place of worship since the earliest settlement of man in this area. The church is beautiful and so ancient, you may even feel the magic pull of  “hallowed ground”...   Ponder further - Sir Walter Raleigh was an MP for this county of Mitchell in the 1600’s.
History, accessibility to the beauty of Cornwall, including just a few kilometres away Jamaica Inn made forever famous by Daphne du Maurier’s intriguing novel, such a lot to discover, and all from this marvellous pivot point!
We travel quite a lot, and together we offer you “Rosewyn BnB” the very best.  Do not hesitate, but, book well ahead, the secret is out!

Stayed for 6 nights. Greeted with warm smiles and hugs, cake with tea/coffee. Shown to our room, with ensuite bathroom. Lovely view from windows. Shown around the small farm area when we were ready. Very environmentally friendly. The amenities in the room, i.e. coffee, milk, tea, etc...were checked every day. The breakfasts were amazing! Andree is a fabulous cook. The Jacuzzi was great. Did not want to leave. We were looked after that well! An awesome place to stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Rosewyn Farmhouse for two night whilst in the area on business. It is many years since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I wasn't sure quite what to expect. Business trips usually involve a hotel (within the same price range) where every experience is virtually the same. The rating of excellent is largely down to Andree (the owner and host) who could not be more helpful. If you are looking for a soulless, just decorated, corporate look, this may not be to your taste. It is a homely farmhouse style with very good attention to detail, in the areas of comfort and individual needs e.g fresh milk was supplied in the fridge in the room. When I said I had my beverages black, sliced lemon was provided. Biscuits, nuts, bottled water and a small bowl of mints and chocolates were also in the room. Lots of towels and plenty of toiletries were also provided.
Freshly brewed coffee and fruit was provided on my arrival. However, the absolute highlight of the stay was the breakfast. Everything so fresh, with many of the products sourced from the farm. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was the best I have tasted.
Beautiful views, peace and quite, and a thoughtful and helpful host, at a very reasonable price. I would certainly stay here again.


Just returned home after a relaxing 2 night stay here. What a lovely peaceful location. 
Was met with a warm welcome by the host, who did everything possible to ensure I had all I needed. The accommodation was just right and very comfortable. 
Breakfast was fabulous and served exactly when requested. 
I cannot fault Rosewyn farmhouse and would definitely recommend. Hope to visit again on my next visit to the area. 

A very enjoyable visit. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. The host is very welcoming and engaging with lots of information about the surrounding area. Good location for exploring Cornwall. Plenty of parking. Lovely quiet and peaceful setting.
