The Martins B&B

Needed some where to stay near Ipswich. Came across this fantastic little place. WOW beautiful location. Room was spacious and very clean. On suite was big with bath and shower. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful Lisa the owner couldn't do enough for us. 
Ample parking with a pub and dinning only 10 minutes walk from the B &B.
All in all a fantastic place.

Stayed with Lisa for a night after a long drive up to Suffolk and was not disappointed. 
The BnB is beautiful with breath taking views across the fields. 
Incredibly comfy bed and had a great night's sleep. 
Great breakfast to start the day and you're spoilt for choice with what they offer.
Lisa has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and look forward to visiting again!

This is without doubt the best B&B we have ever stayed in, Lisa the host is just so welcoming and friendly you feel like you are at home. Very clean and tidy and the rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the views are out of this world! The room we stayed in had a beautiful big bath and a shower which was great after a long day out walking. Fresh milk left in the fridge to accompany the generous variety of hot drinks you can make in the rooms. Breakfast is absolutely out of this world, fresh local produce in the grilled full English along with yoghurt, croissants, fresh berries, jams and honey, toast and a huge selection of cereal and granola. A MUST stay if you visit the village which is also beautiful - 10 star B&B!

This small B&B is excellent from start to finish. Lisa is a wonderful host, she greets her guests with a smile as though they were part of the family and are often welcomed with tea and biscuits. Both her rooms are very comfortable with great beds, chairs to relax in, and on-suite. The TV and WiFi internet works well, I had no problem downloading the information I needed.
Everything is clean and tidy.
The location is superb, a very quiet village with a great pub with excellent food a few minutes walk away and good country walks from the front door.
But the breakfast is worth 10 starts, even the crusts are cut off!
The Martins is a must for all those wanting to escape the rush and want to relax and enjoy quality.  I cannot wait to return next summer so that I can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking uninterrupted views of the country side.

We had a brilliant 2 night stay when visiting the area for a wedding. Lisa sent us directions before we arrived which were really helpful and she gave us a lovely warm welcome after our long drive from
Northumberland. 

The fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch in our comfortable room. The bed was comfortable and the en suite shower room served us well. 

The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had! Home cooked English breakfast (all fresh from the local farm shop), fresh fruit, warm croissants and a selection of cereal! The dining room had a beautiful view which was a lovely start to the day. 

We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we are in the area. Thank you!

We stayed her, albeit briefly, as we were at a wedding locally. 
The house is spotless, rooms were comfortable and well equipped. 
Lisa, the host, cooked us an amazing breakfast and could not have been more helpful! I would recommend to anybody. 

We stayed here for 2 nights just over a week ago when we were attending a wedding nearby at Moreve's Barn. We were greeted so warmly into her beautiful home by the lovely Lisa (Thank You!) and shown into a very impressive Lounge for a most welcome pot of tea. Our en suite bedroom was spacious with 2 very comfortable armchairs and king size bed.  All furnishing and fittings were high quality and the fridge was much appreciated.  The bath and shower were luxurious too. As for the full English Breakfast - just amazing!  A range of choices of cereals with fresh fruit and beautifully cooked and presented hot food.  Our son left 3 items behind on departure but Lisa soon contacted us to return them. It was a wonderful restful weekend in glorious Suffolk countryside.  We would love to return one day.

Wow, wow, and wow again. I stayed at The Martins for 1 night as I was in the area on business. As you drive to this B&B you go through spectacular countryside which puts you in a good mood straight away, it is in a beautiful spot and I found it very easily.

I was delighted from the word go, Lisa was really welcoming. My double room was carpeted and had an en-suite bathroom with shower and was really spacious, with wonderful views over the garden & fields. There was a wardrobe, tea/coffee maker, & flat-screen TV.
Lisa also very thoughtfully provided a fan as it had been a hot day. 
You also get the use of a big guest lounge.

Lisa made me an enormous breakfast in the morning, the dining room looks out over the patio which is a lovely start to the day.

There is loads of free private parking and free of charge  WiFi is available.

I'd definitely stay again.

The owner Lisa is extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful. She welcome her guests with generous hearty smiles. She is always willing to assist us and making us feel comfortable, at easy and without feeling intrusive. Although we have booked a smaller room and a larger room was available, we were given the larger room at the same price. The room and bathroom are clean and the bed is comfortable. The English full breakfast is excellent and there is a generous spread of fresh fruits and cereals. A lounge with fireplace is also available for us to use and relax, which is particularly good for us to have a self-prepared afternoon tea or an early evening drink to relax before we head out for dinner. There are good choices of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity within 10-20 minutes drive. We are not beach goers, the B&B location is ideal for us to use as a base for 4 nights visiting various beautiful towns and villages in Suffolk and the John Constable Country. We had a minor problem with the WiFi when we arrived. It was fixed the next day and we were happy about it. So the slight negative has turned into positive due to the prompt action of Mark (Lisa's husband). Overall is a near perfect 10 experience for us.

We had a wonderful stay at The Martins. Lisa is an excellent host. The room was large with bath & shower. Plus we had the use of a big guest lounge. The breakfast was scrumptious,  fresh fruit, croissants,  plus the full English, cereal etc. Hope to return soon. Best b & b we have stayed at.
