The Townhouse Ludlow

We stayed here a year ago as we have friends in Leominster and Ludlow is such a pretty and vibrant town, and we loved our amazing room at The Townhouse so much that we simply cannot ever stay anywhere else. As per our previous stay, check in was easy, picking up the keys, information and our breakfast vouchers (for the delicious Italian deli a few doors down) from friendly and helpful staff at The Church Inn, who also escorted us to our room and carried our heavy bags up the stairs for us. The room. We ideally wanted the 4 poster bed large suite room we had last time, but it was booked out. Nonetheless, the room we chose that was most similar was gorgeous, had the most wonderful view looking across to the Butter Cross and also down towards the market and Ludlow Castle (which by the way, is well worth a visit!), the king bed was huge and blissfully comfortable, the room was big enough to live spaciously in for weeks, the window seat is gorgeous, the bathroom was really cool, with one part having a sink and claw foot bath, and the other part having a walk in shower, sink and toilet, separated by a half wall. There is also a walk-in robe room ideal for storing luggage. Ample power outlets for those tied to their phones, such as myself, location perfect for all restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as the train station. The included breakfast each morning at the deli is SO GOOD and the staff there so friendly. Check out was easy. A staff member carried our bags down the stairs for us and we returned the keys to the Church Inn to then hop in a taxi for the station to our next destination. We'll be back every time we're in lovely Ludlow!
