Do not stay here!!!!
The bedding had not been cleaned before our stay and had and was covered in a variety of bodily fluids. We then got moved to a new room which didn't have the same facilities I had paid for (bath, smart TV ect). The bedding in the new flat seemed clean but the throw on the end of the bed was filthy. There was also other signs that the flat had not been cleaned since the last occupants as there was food left in the kitchen drawers and the bedside table were sticky and dusty. The room also only had a small heater that constantly turned itself off, so spent most of the trip very cold. After all this they then charged me for the room that I had already paid for months in advance and too over £200 out of my account without informing me which then took a week for them to refund. It has now been almost 2 weeks since our visit and I still have not received my damage deposit (£100) which I was told I would receive back within a week.

The location was fantastic...the beds were lovely and comfortable.... we had a 2 level apartment..it was on the top floor but it was OK with the lift ... the feature wall gave us lots to talk about ..it is a giant world map ... we would go back again...

Total scam.   Impossible to contact them by phone abs they just don’t answer your emails.   Due to go Dec 3rd for weekend.  (Already re-arranged twice due toCovid ) Unable to get hold of them for the key code and entry procedures.  Eventually came back saying they had double booked us abs would send a refund.  Not idea when you have booked train tickets etc.  still no refund nor any response to emails.    Just disgusting x

Avoid avoid avoid!!!

These apartments are a complete scam having rescheduled our stay 3 times due to covid . we were due to stay on the 3rd December for 2 nights for 5 people and had paid in full when 1st booked..tried to contact the apartments numerous times to  get the booking in procedures..there is now no number you can contact and the company ignore your emails ..they eventually replied the day before saying they had double booked our apartment and they would send a refund within 2 -3 days but we have had nothing and they are again ignoring our emails .managed to get hold of a number and spoke to someone who said they'd get someone to call back but again no call . This company is a joke and booking.com who we booked through are useless as they say they can't do anything as they no longer deal with them and because the apartments didn't let them know it had been rescheduled they said it wasn't there problem and that they had it down that we had completed our stay in June..  so please please do not book these apartments they are a complete joke and trying to get our £583 refund is turning out to be a nightmare !! But I will be taking them to court if this isn't sorted out within the next 5 days. Also if I hadn't have contacted them we would have turned up in Liverpool with no where to stay. It's disgusting as reading other reviews we are not the only ones they have done this to .!!

Scam scam scam !!

Pretty much the same story as some  of the other reviews.   After a 6 hour journey to get here arriving at 5.30pm, we were told we didn’t have a room.  There is no reception or onsite staff so on the phone to the supplied number an overseas call centre was told it was the fault of Hotels.com.  Was called nearly 2 hours later to “assist us” in finding new accommodation.  I received my refund quickly and a voucher to apologise but too little too late.  After planning a group trip months in advance and having to let friends down is awful.  We were able to walk into a local hotel and get a room.  Some people would not have the funds to do this and would have their trip ruined waiting around for alternative accommodation.  Absolutely appalling, shame on people that operate a business that takes money for accommodation that is not available.

6 hour journey from London to Liverpool. Got there and was freezing cold only to be told they lost our booking although we'd paid nearly an arm and leg for it. No sympathy from a Gentleman there who told me they weren't liable. Hotels.com are an absolute disgrace of a company, hanging up on me 8 times after explaining my situation. Tried reaching them for over an hour! 

Only positive out of this was Mary who sorted us out massively and rectified a lot of problems hence the 2 stars. Them 2 stars are not for the apartment they're only for Mary because she sorted us out smoothly, so hats off to Mary, she was unreal. 

However the apartment we paid for originally said it slept 4 but we could barely fit 3 in, we had to take turns sleeping on the floor which was annoying. And their compensation package was another disgrace, offering 20% off next time when we had a smaller apartment than paid for, left in the cold for an hour and a half. Told it wasn't their problem etc etc. Why would I want 20% off if I'm never using these guys again. Embarrassing!  

Not a nice first Liverpool experience, it left a rather sour taste in my mouth. Wouldn't be recommending. And again Hotels.com and Union Bank are an absolute disgrace, don't use them!

Weekend of Hell at Union Bank Apartments

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!
Take your money. (£1200 for our group booking!) - cancel a week before your stay and do not deliver on the refund that is promised. There is no telephone contact with this property (at least where you can speak to a person!) and they ignore repeated emails! Off to court we go…..

Booked on the Mon to stay here Weds-Sat..
All fine at first,card details went through,was told they'd be intouch on the day for payment etc..got an email on the train to fill in details again,filled it all in to get an email saying our post code wasnt correct,filled it in again to get another email saying the card was out of date for payment..(it wasn't)
Arrived at 3.30pm and they wouldnt give us details to collect the keys until we paid with a card in date!
How many more times can you tell someone your card doesnt run out until 2025!
By this time we'd had enough and started checking out other hotels..by 5.50pm we finally found one with rooms available..The Tune..👍 great location and friendly staff.
Do not book at these appartments!..terrible service and they will hold your deposit! (Even with an "out of date card")..
AVOID!!

Steer clear!!

Cancelled twice due to covid, wouldn't refund therefore had to re-arrange twice because of further lockdowns. They then requested full payment again! They won't answer phones due to covid? had to find old bank statement to prove I had already paid, lots of forms to fill out on line, received requests for all of this from both the apartments direct and their 3rd party (oppulent living), total shambles.
Wouldn't recommend.

Admin from hell, not worth the hassle!

This hotel was booked in jan 2020 after re arranging 4 times due 2 covid we were due 2 stay here this weekend but a week before i had an email to say our place had been canceld due 2 over booking this had been booked for 18 month lots of emails and phonecalls to a number that dont even ring out tried to speak to booking 
.com and nothing no refund no answers id really avoid at all costs
