Second time we’ve stayed at Moss Wood. It’s the perfect place to hide away and quietly relax. The lodges are both beautiful and extremely comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome. Can’t wait to return again.

We have just had the most relaxing weekend break at Moss Wood Lodge! Breath taking views, beautiful lodge with everything you need, gorgeous welcome basket! Fabulous host Wendy! It’s a must on your bucket list!

If your looking for a top quality place to stay that's only 10 mins from the M6 motorway & only 5 mins from shops & bars in Knutsford ( a very smart small town ) then look no further - this is it . There are 2 small buildings on either side of a small lake . We stayed in 1 of of them . You park your car outside the main house ( that's superb ) then its a 1 min walk round to your stand alone building . Its top quality in every way . Wooden with a huge bed & very smart shower bathroom . Small kitchen area . Good TV with netflix . Very good internet . Comfort is the key word . Seats outside to sit on but you can walk round to the lake or wander round the huge gardens of this fabulous place . We would strongly recommend this place to anyone .

We loved staying here, it’s was perfect for our 2-night weekend trip. The stables lodge is so pretty and very quiet, tucked away in the woods. The owners were very accommodating, as our flight was cancelled & we arrived earlier than planned. This wasn’t a problem and the lodge was prepared for our early check-in. The breakfast hamper was much appreciated and the lodge was warm, clean and beautifully decorated. We both slept so well in the lovely comfy bed and enjoyed the views and the tranquility of the gardens. Overall perfect.

Wonderfully private and tranquil place to escape to. We stayed in the stables which was cosy and well equipped with a lovely view of fields and a pond.  Moss Bank is tucked away and yet is really convenient for knutsford, Manchester airport and town but a million miles from the rat race. Owners on hand and willing to help. Perhaps at the price fresh coffee and not  basic end cereal would have been a more luxurious touch in the breakfast hamper, but there was everything you would need.

The cottage setting itself is absolutely perfect and within a short drive of some beautiful areas of the country. The calm you get from just staring out at the lake while having your morning coffee is something else. All amenities provided by our very welcoming and friendly hosts and a contact number provided should anything else be needed over your stay. We can't praise Moss Wood enough - will definitely be back when the opportunity arises. You can't put a price and such quality relaxation time.

So, we have stayed here many times already this year and we cannot praise the property and the owners highly enough. Peaceful, tranquil and with perfect views over the quiet Cheshire countryside. You will not be disappointed.

A beautiful cottage in beautiful grounds. The perfect getaway but within easy access to Manchester if required. Friendly welcome. Accommodation was perfect,everything you need and beautifully decorated. 

Had a lovely stay at the summerhouse. Sat watching the wildlife. Husband really chuffed to see a particular variety never seen in his life and believe me he knows the name of them all. Quaint place on lovely grounds. Private and host was lovely.

Beautiful setting, warm welcome, everything provided!

We were visiting for a wedding in the area and stayed here for two nights. The stables were very cosy and set in a beautiful surrounding, Very relaxing and peaceful. The breakfast hamper was lovely and fluffy cosy robes were provided on request. Would definitely recommend and we would happily stay here again.

Moss Wood Stables

I found this little gem purely by chance whilst browsing for a last minute deal for my hubby and to say we were blown away is an understatement.

Located close to Knutsford centre the ‘Summerhouse’ was stunning, overlooks a lovely lake comes with everything you’ll need for a romantic stay.

Definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Absolutely Fabulous

What a gem, The Stables at Moss Wood are idyllic! Beautiful lodge, very clean, spacious and homely with a fantastic aspect looking out over the lake and farmland. Really peaceful and secluded feel. I was staying while on business and it was lovely to come back to this haven at the end of each day. Would also be an ideal place to stay for a romantic getaway. Rose petals and towel ‘swans’ on the bed and the breakfast hamper were lovely touches.
Only a short drive/taxi from Knutsford and within walking distance of a lovely pub, you really do have everything.
Highly recommended and I’ll definately be back.

Couldn’t be better!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the weekend, and it was so lovely! We felt very welcomed when shown round the summerhouse and told if we needed anything we only had to ask! The lodge itself is nice and private and inside it is very cosy and clean! Would recommended it highly and can’t wait to go back! Thankyou for the wonderful stay! X

So we have stayed here a few times now. If that doesn't say it all I do not know what does! Amazing, romantic, tranquil et etc. Words cannot express how much we love this place and fully intend on staying again soon.
As well as a lovely location the owners could not be more helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended.
