Central Apartments Edinburgh

My husband and I and our 10 year old son spent a happy 2 nights in a 1 bed apartment on the 2nd floor. The block is very old and the apartment was simply decorated. But we had everything we needed: a well equipped kitchen, it was spick and span, plenty of hot water, and wonderful heating in all the rooms (even the bathroom). The apartments are so well located that we walked there from Haymarket Train Station on arrival, and explored the whole of Edinburgh by foot. We self catered, which was very easy as there is a Sainsburys, a Co-op and a Tescos all a few minutes walk from the building. Not to mention a local greengrocer and a butcher a few steps from the front door! Our unit was at the back of the block and looked into trees, and was very quiet. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for excellent value for money centrally located self catering accommodation in Edinburgh.
