Nice room. , helpfull personel. Only stayed for one night in September 2019. They had started renovations. Will hopefully be able to stay there next year. Covid allowing. Was unable to go this year as covid regulations would not allow.

Quiet & relaxing.

Was looking for sonewhere last minute that would take dogs and this fitted the bill.went on booking.com and it said only one room left so we booked it.Next day i thought it would be a good idea to read some reviews as had only gone off the pictures.wish i hadnt.we arrived at teatime and was checked in by a very helpful man who showed us where to go.the outside of the chalet was run down.the room was better than expected with clean bedding and a good shower.thats where the positive ended.couldnt open the bathroom window for cobwebs and the general cleaning was poor.the uht milk pots supplied were dated 2018.The hotel seemed to be used for people needing emergency accomodation ie.homeless and refugees.the owner needs to decided which he wants to do holidays or emergency accomodation as it doesnt work doing both. Sad to say wont be returning as it was a lovely area

Wouldnt stay again

We went here on an organised trip, the rooms are very old fashioned & basic, there seemed to be one member of staff who had to do everything but on the plus side the Wi-Fi was excellent & the breakfast plentiful & freshly cooked.

Don’t bother

the chalet/bungalow was good,clean,however the club,pub and restaurant plus pool all shut,grounds neglected,very very run down,no staff about,only manager,no breakfasts to be had,had to go out searching for some where to eat,

Wow what a place! Noisy dangerouse and should be CLOSED DOWN.Run down with nothing to offer.
So for 250 per week you get put in a basic untit with NO heating. 
There are fights breaking out regularly and peole being cramed into unfit accomodation.
Its all about money. If they can get more money for the untit your in then they will evict you and probably offer u a condemmed caravan.
The owner steven and his dreadfull money grabing wife tina have only money on there minds infact they just took on a new contract and after evicting everyone on site went on holiday...
If it wasnt for the lovely couple deacon and daniel who literaly do everything then this place would not run at all.
The owners have no concern for the welfare of anyone staying there just £££s
They exploit very high rents off people and cram them into shared condemed living environments.. The council should shut it down.

DANGER BEWARE...

We booked in on my 75th birthday  22nd August. My granddaughter, her husband, 3 children and me. Very tired looking communal area but hey not too bad. Bed time the problems started BED BUGS loads of them. Stayed in the living room all night. Got our money back after showing them a bag full of the bugs we'd caught and checked out on 23rd. Bites all over our bodies. STAY AWAY if you've got any sense.

Wow?!!  If you want to stay at a place, that is a halfway home to ‘recovering’ drug addicts, then fill your boots! I was trying to find a dog friendly hotel, last minute, and after a few setbacks, got this place? 
It’s off the beaten track, but was my only option left? 
It looked closed on the reception/bar when I got there at 7.30. I did manage to check in, which was in the most dirty, run down bar area, I have ever seen! 
The room was actually okay, and clean, but the TV and WiFi did not work. Not a biggie. 
I went outside the door to let my dog have a runaround, and within 10 minutes, had a person approach me, to ask it I had a cigarette, and could I give her, and her friends into the local village? She, and her friends were off their heads (I know heroin addicts when I see them) 
After they had left, within another 5 minutes, a barefooted guy, in shorts and tee shirt, also off his nut, appeared out of the shadows asking for cigarettes, and money! 
Absolutely crazy! 
I’m a voyeur, so I quite like this randomness, when on my own, without my kids, but please avoid this place like the plague otherwise!

Blimey!

We were the only paying guests on site. I'd hate to think we were shown the best rooms. The site is in poor repair. The swimming pool is disgusting. Mould everywhere. No staff. Kitchens closed. Avoid if at all possible.

However, with considerable investment this could be a gem of a place to visit. Owners need to decide to sell up or invest.

Don't expect quality.

bed was comfortable butb thats where the positives stop . Room was clean cobwebs hanging from windows & door only 50% of lights worked, toilet seat was broken ( it was quite an art to hang onto to stay upright) dining room leaked water through roof & condiment sachets were at least 3 month out of date in fact some were dated nov 18.

two night stop

We booked this place without reading the reviews... the place is a hell hole! It was a family 1 night stay 2 adults 3 children. 1 8 year old, 2 year old and a newborn. They supplied us with a travel cot and upon setting it up we found it covered in mould and what I can only describe as other someone's bodily fluids. I wouldn't let a animal sleep in in never mind  baby! Due to not being able to use the travel cot we pushed the beds together so the babies could sleep next to us and we was faced with mouse droppings everywhere. The place was pure filthy. Within 10 mins of being in the place my 1 year old had found a mouse trap with a dead mouse in it and whatever poison they had used in it burnt/blistered her fingers. Honestly aviod this place like the plague or you could end up with it.
