556 reviewsWe knew nothing about Edinburgh locations but decided to take a chance on Adria House. We are thrilled we did. It was ideally located within walking distance of the train station and points of interest. There were a number of restaurants and the live theatre just minutes away. (The Kahani Indian Restaurant had the best Indian food we’ve ever had, and you can bring your own wine!) Our room, with 14 foot ceilings, was palatial. Our view of the gardens in the rear, through the huge room window, was breath taking. We felt like royalty. The attention to detail in all areas of the house showed a labor of love not always seen in 200 year old homes. The brother-sister family owners were delightful and gracious. Maria welcomed us warmly and immediately gave us an overview of the city on a map. The continental breakfast was typical of most places but elegantly presented. We highly recommend this hotel. It will make your stay in Edinburgh extra special.
