Quarry Walk Lodges

Stayed here for 2 nights as a secluded break away for the two of us, we stayed in Daisy 12. The pod was exactly what we expected, compact, but comfortable, all the utilities we needed. Bluetooth speakers, Freeview TV, kitchenette, small fridge. The park is really nice, the shop, when open, has essentials, and you're within 10 minutes drive of most things you'd need. The local pubs are great. The communal fire pits to just have a fire or toast marshmallows is a nice touch The only issue was around mobile signal. The website does advise that it could be limited, what we didn't expect was that as soon as you got about 3 car lengths away from the entry barrier you got no signal at all, so we had to purchase the WiFi otherwise we'd have had no way of family contacting us in an emergency. I've never experienced that issue even when in the middle of nowhere elsewhere in the country. Didn't let it ruin the experience, as £15 for 3 days use was acceptable. Also our shower was faulty, which was not an easy fix so we made do, and the team apologised for the inconvenience Would highly recommend
