Lovely property, owners were so accommodating, breakfast was beautiful and freshly cooked. We also loved the little peak at the puppies 🐾🐾

My room was immaculate, clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bed , breakfast was served in the farmhouse and was delicious .

It is a very nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing.The breakfast is second to none and there is plenty of parking. Close to the M6. Bed was very  comfortable.The only thing i have some criticism is that the TV is way too small. You had to sit on the end of the bed to watch it. WiFi reception was very hit and miss, but propably accepted due the location of the property.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Rooms are warm, clean and cosy. A very lovely country home. The breakfast is hearty and cooked to order. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Absolutely fantastic. Nice clean comfortable room and bed.  A nice full breakfast and jo is a great host.

Really quiet and peaceful in the heart of the countryside yet handy for local towns and the motorway network.  The room was very clean and tidy, and I had a great night's sleep thanks to the comfortable bed, the absence of streetlights and the total lack of noise.The breakfast was also first class.  I couldn't honestly fault anything.

Very nice accommodation, extremely welcoming and comfy room, particularly appreciated after an extremely long day and long drive.My sat nav could not find the property but Google maps got it in oneNice breakfast and very friendly hostsLooks like a nice area, I was only here briefly so would happily return for a relaxed break and to explore the area

Very pleasant stay

It was good value for the money but there are rooms for improvement. The bedding wer0e dirty but I noticed before check out there were spare ones. The shower water temperature fluctuated  (very small heating package system. No slippers and floor was freezing cold. Breakfast was very limited. Location is good if you were on holiday and wanted to enjoy horse back riding.Overall fair value.

Nice clean, tidy room with some nice decor touches. Lovely floor. My bed was very comfy but the other one could have done with a mattress protector as could feel the springs. Weather was very cold but always good to come back to a nice warm cozy room. Hot tap in the bathroom was very hard to turn off. New light fitting in the bathroom and the ceiling from the old one hadn’t been repainted. Outer door stuck a bit as did our door and key was tricky to turn. Nitpicking I know, but overall it is a lovely place.  Breakfast was a very good. Hot or cold choices and hot freshly cooked to order. Best coffee I’ve ever had in a bed and breakfast. Friendly helpful owner. I would definitely recommend this place and happily stay there again.

One of the best nights sleep I've ever had away from home and I travel almost every week. Also, a lovely hearty breakfast in the morning. Thank you.Only two downsides for me were that the room was quite cold, I had to sleep in my tracksuit bottoms/socks; and the shower was quite small - I'm a large guy and found it a bit of a squeeze.

Best nights sleep away from home in a while

We chose this property as it is within easy travelling distance, reasonably priced and welcomes dogs. Car parking is within easy reach of the property on the front lawn. A larger lawn is nearby for dog walking. We were met by one of the owners who showed us to our room on the ground floor of a converted barn. Access was very good. The room was a decent size, airy, clean, simply and pleasantly furnished and adequately met our needs. Tea and coffee was provided. The bedding was clean and well laundered. There was a throw in case we were cold. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities were fine and straightforward. Shampoo and shower gel were supplied. The area was rural, peaceful and quiet except for the owners' 5/6 dogs who barked loudly and often. The owners were welcoming, polite and helpful. There was a range of breakfast items including cereals, orange juice, tea, coffee toast and a selection of jams/marmalade. The cooked breakfast, which included sausage, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, fried bread and grilled tomato was ample. We were disappointed that there were no vegetarian alternatives to the meat sausages nor were there decaffeinated alternatives to the tea and coffee. The toast was white bread - we would have preferred brown but we weren't given a choice, however this b&b is very reasonable, so overall we were satisfied with our stay and are happy to recommend Balterley Green Farm.

A beautiful old farm complex in a lovely country setting but only a  5 minute drive to the main shops.
Lots of pubs nearby.
Friendly owners and lovely country feel.
Room was immaculate.
Wonderful full breakfast offered.
I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

Great experience

After checking in to my original booking at a hotel in Longton, Crewe, I immediately searched for new accommodation. I found Balterley Green Farms and booked it at approximately 9pm on the night I required accommodation. Upon arriving just before 11pm I was received a wonderfully warm welcome from the hosts and was shown to my room.The room was spotless. Comfortable, cosy and beautifully decorated. A wonderful sleep.Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and tasted great. I can not recommend this B&B enough and will definitely return when business takes me this way again.

Excellent service and Accommodation. Saved my trip

We had a lovely experience at Balterley Green Farm. The owner was very welcoming and the accommodation was clean and inviting.The farm is as you would expect in the middle of no where and we very excited to hear an owl hooting at night and see the horse in the field opposite our window.Highly recommend and would go back again.
