Phil and Sam run this exceptional hostelry. They could not be more welcoming or happy to help. We had a specific area to house our bikes, the rooms were warm and cosy & very comfortable. The range of beer predominantly local and brilliant to boot, the food was varied and extremely tasty and the breakfast next morning was superb. The highlight of our trip without doubt

This is a truly wonderful pub on all levels. It’s in a brilliant location, open fires and a great atmosphere. Family owned and run. Excellent beer and food and the rooms were lovely. Best of all they are lovely hosts. Can’t recommend the team enough!

Lovely old inn. Very welcoming owners. Bedroom was clean & comfy. Bed linen was excellent & fluffy white towels. Evening food was gorgeous all homemade using fresh ingredients and local beers & gin.
Breakfast next day was also really good! Local produce.
Good location for visiting Malham. Would definitely return.

We came for a family pre-Christmas meal. it was a very  good choice and we had a lovely night out: very tasty food,  a mixture of traditional  and gastropub. It's always reassuring when  there is a relatively short menu  of dishes well  done. There was a warm  and friendly welcome,  even  though  we were running late- that  was no  problem. Although  most of us were quite full,  all  6 of us decided to  have a pudding,  no one wanted to  miss out! It is a while since we have been  to  the  Devonshire at Cracoe,  but I hope we will  be back  soon.

We called into The Devonshire Arms for lunch, absolutely beautiful food, home made and a great selection of fresh vegetables, very good selection of real ales also available, we will definitely call in again when back in the area.



What a lovely place to stay. Everything was spot on from the cleanliness of our room to the great menu of food and drinks.

What a lovely place. Great food, wine & beer. Warm welcome from Sam & Phil. Fabulous breakfast, comfortable beds. So quiet…we slept so well! Helpful advice to access the walls we wants to. Can’t wait to come back.
The food was great. Fish and chips, Seabass and excellent choice of vegetarian meals.

Devonshire arms is a fabulous family run pub, friendly and welcoming, and attention to detail superb. The rooms comfortable and clean, we stayed in Hawes room, which was one of the smaller double rooms, and yes, it was very compact, however, it had everything we needed, hospitality tray with biscuits and fresh milk, chilled water and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The evening meal was delicious, the atmosphere in the bar was relaxed, lots of people dining but Phil and his lovely wife just seemed to manage everything attentively and with out any drama. The breakfast was equally tasty, the menu included kippers, smoked haddock and eggs royale all served with a smile. The pub is located in a small village, less than 4 miles from Grassington and the bus stop is just outside. We definitely recommend this lovely pub and can’t wait to come back in the winter when those log fires are roaring!  

We dined here in 2019 and we’re wowed..so post lockdown planning led hubby to say “do you remember that lovely inn?” So much has passed but the impact to Devonshire Arms Inn is they just keep getting better.. yes reviews will say fabulous food and service it’s All True but this family, Phil,Sam, Vicky , Martin and yes Arthur have a rare special ingredient it’s Hospitality.. it just a real gem these places are getting rarer but it’s inspiring to know that you can still experience it all in buckets just treat yourself to the Devonshire Arms inn in Cracoe

Without doubt a superb two nights at this great Pub. Rooms were great but the service and food are worthy of a mention. The staff were first class, service was exceptional. All the food was brilliant, even sorted us an early breakfast as one day we needed to be out early. Highly recommended.
