This is the best tea room in this village, I wouldn't class it as acsfebecoyse of the atmosphere, its quaint pritty and special. The food is outstanding as the owners and staff. Spotless all over, they can't do enough to make you feel welcome. Amy is a pleasure as is the other staff. Louise and Richard this is a credit to you both

Me & my husband stayed at Bridge House B&B last weekend as we were attending a friend's wedding at a nearby venue. I initially emailed Myles a few months prior to the stay to book and he was so helpful and I knew that we would not be disappointed with our stay. When we arrived at Bridge House, Myles & Margaret greeted us and were so friendly and welcoming. We were offered coffee and a bite to eat before we got ready for the wedding. We stayed in the double room, which was lovely and was very homely. The accommodation really felt like home from home. Myles offered breakfast the following morning at whatever time suited us best, which was lovely as we quite fancied a rare lie in! I had read on TripAdvisor what an amazing breakfast guests experienced, but I really was amazed at the quality and quantity! Everything was laid out for us at 10am from fresh fruit, croissants, meats, cheese, yogurts, cereal, fruit juices, tea/coffee....and that was just for starters! We then ordered our cooked breakfast which was the best breakfast I have ever had and was cooked to perfection! Myles kindly gave us a lift back to our car later on and told us there was no rush at all in checking out and we enjoyed another coffee on the terrace in the sunshine before heading home. Myles & Margaret are absolutely wonderful hosts and run such a wonderful B&B here at Bridge House. You can tell that they really just want to look after their guests and they certainly do that! This B&B is the best one I have stayed in and I would recommend anyone to stay here. I was amazed at the fantastic price...we even offered to pay more but Myles would not accept! Fantastic hosts and absolutely lovely genuine people.Thank you Myles & Margaret for such a lovely stay and thank you for looking after us! We hope to see you in the not so distant future (we may even drive down just for breakfast!) :-)

I had the pleasure of staying with Miles and Margaret at Bridge House and I think I can sum the beautiful experience that I had there up into four bullet points!
Owners: Very warm, Welcoming and super relaxed.
Food: Hands down the best breakfast I have ever had, plus I went the evening meal option which was spectacular!!!!
Area: perfect!! Train station, beautiful walks and tourists attractions within throwing distance.
Rooms: Very clean, super comfortable beds and lots of natural light!.
In short, if your in the area this is where you want to stay!!!

Have visited Bridge house a number of times, and always come back. 
Great food, clean and comfortable rooms and the helpfulness of Myles and Margaret is un matched. 
It is also set in the tamar valley which is an AONB. Lots of great walks!
Easy access to busses to take you to the market town of Tavistock or the train which will take you to Plymouth, then beyond.

I have been lucky to stay at Bridge House on many occasions over the last five years and every time is just as good as the last - if not better!  The location is stunning and the bedrooms spotless and beautiful with quality linen and fabulous towels.  The food is out of this world, all freshly prepared and beautifully cooked and presented.  But all of that pales into insignificance when compared to the quality of the welcome from Margaret and Myles!  They are wonderful hosts with nothing too much trouble and everything carefully planned and executed.  Bliss!
