We had a lovely stay in this very special bnb . The rooms were well appointed with a super comfy bed and good linen. There was a well stocked tea tray with fresh milk and good quality biscuits. The shower room was  close by and soley for our use. The host Alison was really lovely and knowledgable on the local area. The best bit was the peace and quiet and no light pollution. In beautiful countryside.

In this beautiful farm house in the country, with absolute peace and quiet and lovely walks around , we enjoyed a return visit  here with Alison, a friendly and accommodating host. Look forward to coming back next year!

Comfortable stay in a nice farmhouse building. Would stay again

The host checked before my arrival what time I'd be booking in. Unfortunately I was early so they were out but Alison was very accomodating when I said I'd be back around 10pm. Place was lovely and room was very comfortable with an array of items on the room to make my stay more comfortable. Overall would highly recommend but would also advise to close your windows before bed as the crows and peacocks woke me up at 5am!

A great stay. Alison was very accommodating and friendly. The room was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is also great, seemingly remote, but still well connected.

Fantastic room, lovely and clean. Comfy bed and very peaceful and quiet nights sleep. The village is quiet but conveniently close to Bury St Edmunds, Red Lodge and Newmarket. Lovely breakfast too! Host was very accommodating.

Lovely stay in the  Suffolk countryside

Lovely quite spot

My husband and i needed overnight accommodation to attend a friends wedding in a small village close by. We choose Church house farm. Allison was so accommodating allowing us to check in earlier. She was very helpful with a taxi number. On yhe whole a pleasant weekend. Breakfast was fantastic choice, great host. Cant wait yo book again later in the year. Thankyou x

Stayed for one night at Church Farmhouse and found the room comfortable and very clean. Alison was a great host and makes a fantastic breakfast, the quality of the produce was outstanding. I travelled with my son because we were going to an event the next morning, we stayed in the Mulberry room which is a large family room. Our private bathroom was just outside the actual room, that was no issue at all for me but my son was a little nervous stepping outside of the room at night to go to the bathroom. There were tea, coffee making facilities and cookies, Alison also provide fresh milk in a flask.

I would 100% stay again.

Lovely B&B & fantastic breakfast

We stayed at Church Farmhouse for two nights in September 2021. It is in a peaceful location in a small village between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket. 
Alison is an excellent host - very welcoming, friendly and chatty in a relaxing way. 
We were in Rose, a good size double with everything you need - comfortable bed, sofa and large bathroom (bath and separate shower). 
Alison provides a great breakfast - we can especially recommend the sausages from Newmarket. 
Highly recommended.

Great B&B with exceptional welcome

Had 3 gorgeous nights at this wonderful B and B. going to a wedding at Chippenham Park.
Stayed with our two daughters and their families so took over all the rooms. They were all beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. ( already ordered some of the same for myself)!!
Tasty cooked breakfast every morning with local produce.
Alison is a great host, who goes out of her way to make your stay relaxed and enjoyable. She was happy for us all to sit in her garden with a glass or two of wine and even brought out some of her grandchildren's toys for our grandchildren to play with.
Really can't recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for a beautiful house with extremely helpful host in a quiet, picturesque village this is for you!

Family Stay

Myself and my two grown up daughters have just returned from this lovely b&b. We only stayed for one night as a base for the races.
We stayed in the family room, it was so comfortable and we had our own private bathroom with a great shower!!
The breakfast was lovely too.
Very welcoming place and we would definitely go back.

Lovely B&B

This is a delightful B&B in a typical quiet Suffolk village yet within such easy reach of Bury St Edmund's and Newmarket. Just look up at the chimneys of all the old houses, typical of the area. Lovely clean room and fresh bed linen with en-suite bathroom; tea and coffee in the room +TV. Delicious breakfast and plenty of choice. A few easy dog walks from the front door. Alison is a great relaxed hostess and keen to help with any questions. Ate a local pub just 3-mins drive (or a 20-30 min walk across the fields) away in Tuddenham; old fashioned pub grub (outstanding home made ice-cream). Would highly recommend Church Farmhouse B&B

Idyllic Setting

I booked direct as this avoids the owner having to pay a commission to a booking agent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It’s within an easy drive of Bury St Edmunds in one direction or the Cambridge Park n ride in the other. I had a really enjoyable walk in the woods opposite the B &B. The room itself was cosy and clean and the bathroom was really large. Very satisfied.

Spacious room in a lovely little village

This is a lovely house with a wonderfully homely feel as soon as you walk through the door. We had the Rose room, which is beautifully appointed with antique furniture, a feature of the house. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Alison is a delight and is very helpful. The village is very quiet and perfect if, like us, you don't like busy towns or cities, preferring to visit them from the bucolic comfort of a place such as this. Highly recommended. Thank you.
