The Old Pear Tree B&B

I visited here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, we were very impressed with the exterior as we arrived, the B&B is beautiful from the outside, but we were even more impressed with the inside! The interior is a nice mix between modern and a classic cottage feel, Jane and Garry were so welcoming and friendly, offering us tea on arrival and a map and clear recommendations of places to eat for dinner. We were showed to our room which was also beautiful, the brick and beam detailing in our room was especially eye catching! I loved the little touches around the room which really makes a difference such as the jar of biscuits, chocolate eclair sweets and hot chocolate included on our drinks table- my favourite touch being FRESH MILK for our tea!!! One thing I struggle with at hotels and B&Bs is drinking UHT milk and always wish for fresh, Jane and Garry went beyond what was expected and provided a cool flask of milk, which instantly put a smile on my face!! The facilities were lovely, all the details were perfect and the hosts were faultless. Let's not forget the breakfast! Lots of choice, hot breakfast cooked to perfection and continental options too; we purchased a jar of homemade honey too, which was from the bees on site and we learned a lot about honey and bees at the same time! Thanks so much to Jane and Garry for their hospitality! We had a wonderful stay! (Sorry I don't have photos to share!)
