Blimey O'Riley. What an absolutely outstanding place. This is an old pub, still divided into rooms in the traditional manner: they haven't ruined it with formica and fakery. 
The people are brilliant - warm, hospitable and funny. And the food is outrageously good, For many years I organised an annual lunch at The Savoy: I promise you, nothing I ate at the Whody would have been out of place at one of those lunches. 
Absolutely superb in every way.

We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided.  We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value.Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming.  Full of character

Room was very comfortable breakfast was really good, we only stayed1 night, what we had and saw was lovely,

We arrived at the “who’d have thought it”, to an amazing welcome. All of the staff was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotless and welcoming, while we were there we had a meal in their restaurant and again very friendly staff and the meal was fantastic. We will definitely be booking again to come back.

Really nice old pub, great food and beer options, lovely staff, few points in the room that could do with tidying up, but over all very comfortable and enjoyable.

For a good night sleep go to this hotel, very comfy bed. The Room was  large and there was a lovely walk in  shower. Food was out of this world you definitely won't leave this place hungry. Tuesday pie and pint night £15 and Wednesday steak for 2 and a bottle of wine £45.  And try the cheese board, yummy.  Good cider, and chips to die for. They also serve REAL ham in the baquets. The team that works there definitely enjoy their job as there is lots of laughter. Nothing is too much for them. Thank you for a nice stay

Wonderful find, amazing staff and food  delicious

The staff at the property were all amazing. They couldn't have been more polite or helpful. The pub has a great selection of drinks and the food was extremely good, including the breakfast.

Very spacious room, and large double bed. Bathroom facilities lacked nothing and shower worked well.

We were treated very well and the available food was freshley prepared and reasonably priced.  Served with a smile too!

An unobtrusive pianist was there on the Tuesday evening 

Milton Combe is a pleasant little vllage, with access to a bus but no shops.  It is quiet as most of the traffic is to and from the village inn, Handy for Drake's house, Tavistock and Dartmoor and Plymouth is not too far.  Alas the railway at Yelverton to Princtown and Launceston was closed some years ago.

Stayed as working in Cornwall just over boarder nice room ,comfortable,had it’s own entrance behind pub with key box (great idea)Pub was very friendly,food great, very good quality and choice Had an early start so they made me up a breakfast basket to take away all included Would recommend It’s certainly off the beaten track!!!Interesting drive to the pub from Gunnislake

Lovely old pub, well worth seeking out.

Matt and the team were amazing, nothing too much trouble, We booked only one night at this wonderfully, charming B&B.....wished we'd booked longer! .We ate our evening meal in the pub and it was delicious. Our room was clean, very comfortable and huge!  Thank you Matt for your wonderful hospitality..... we tell everyone about this little gem!

A really old pub in a remote part of the Tamar Valley AONB with lots of character. The meal that we had was excellent and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. The accommodation was also excellent and way above what we were expecting for a B&B attached to a pub. The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst at a competition in Plymouth. 
What a great find.
Our room was very comfortable and the bed was huge.
Bathroom well appointed.
One of the best things about the place are the staff.
Trixie and Becky are fantastic in the evening and the lady serving breakfast is like a family friend to everyone.
The food is great as well 
Would recommend unless you have a big Chelsea tractor....haha, the roads are very narrow.

Wonderful room  fantastic food

Nice rural location in Dartmoor village.Room nice but small.Cleanliness poor, spiders and webs in corners.Earliest breakfast time 9:00am is too late when you have plans for the day.TV too small, around 19" and smaller than regular computer monitor.No window other than skylight.Room lighting poor.No full length mirror, no shower mat.Toilet not flushing properly.
