We had a perfect night sleep. The beds are comfy, room was big, and we were given great amenities. We had food in their restaurant and everything was lovely. The portions were generous, staff working there were all fantastic. Nothing was a problem. I would definitely come back

Perfect night stay 

Very good hotel which is conveniently located close to Bristol airport. Well equipped and comfortable rooms even though the one we had was a little small. Free parking is appreciated. Very satisfied with our stay.

All right, all right.

We booked an overnight stay as we had an early flight. We arrived at 6:30 on the 5th Nov. The pub had a fireworks display so obviously was extremely busy. When we finally got to the bar which was very busy, we were told to wait until 7pm, as the bar would be much quieter then as everyone would go outside to watch the fireworks. We were given a round of drinks on the house while we waited, which was appreciated. Our daughter was getting hungry so my husband went outside and bought her a hotdog as the normal menu wasn't available due to it being fireworks night. He paid £5 for the delight that was a pink, raw sausage. Absolutely disgusting. Luckily she didn't want it! After waiting 40 minutes to finally get to be taken up to our room. The girl that took us up and opened the door, looked shocked... Walked into the room, looked shocked, said 'one minute' & closed the door behind her leaving us stood outside on the landing. 5 minutes later out walks a small child, what looked to be her nan and the staff member followed. She said 'that was the owners daughter, she wanted to watch the fireworks from inside!!' I'm sorry, but this is not acceptable!!!! We had no apology from the member of staff, the beds had obviously been sat on by these people as the cushions were messy and the duvet had creases in!!!!! It wasn't until we realised once we were settled that these people had been in the room the whole time we had been there as when we first arrived we tried to park in the car park but it was full. As we were driving back out we saw 2 adults and at least 2 small children (which were on the bed) in our room. Absolutely shocking service!! Paying customers treated like absolute dirt. Would definitely Not recommend!!!!

Stunning pub in a lovely country village. The landlady is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Had a good laugh with a couple of the locals. Very pleased we popped in for a few drinks. Definitely worth popping in. Would definitely return to try the food.

Stopped off here for lunch as I was passing through. Ordered a fish finger sandwich - the best fish finger sandwich ever!  Highly recommend their Tribute ale on draught as well - a lovely pint, can’t go wrong !

Many thanks to Lottie and her team for inviting my party back for Sunday lunch following our previous experience. The food was excellent and we all agreed that this was the best Sunday lunch we have had this year! All aspects of the meal were excellent. This is a pub which was very busy and seems to be getting all things right in these trying times and is definitely worth a try. I will certainly recommend the POW to friends and family.

Just an overnight before our flight.
Nice old pub, shame the accommodation is in a modern house across the road. Clean and comfy but a little odd as a house share. Do it yourself breakfast could do with a refresh (my crunchy nut cornflakes had been there a while) 
Can't go higher than adequate at the price.

Not a bad little place only 5 mins from the airport my only complaint would be the dripping toilet all night other than that a pleasant stay clean room breakfast facilities and across the road a cosy country feel pub

We only went in for a drink. We were staying locally and didn't know the area. From the outside the pub looks attractive. One inside we discovered a  miserable barmaid couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone when she served anyone. Expensive. Wouldn't recommend

Awful

We were staying overnight  at the Park Farm Lodge closer to Bristol Airport where I car would be parked and we would have an early morning shuttle to catch our flight to Corfu.
Some one on reception recommended that we would find good food and plesent atmosphere at the Prince of Waterloo Pub.
We spent a pleasant couple of hours eating drinking and Chatting with some locals in the bar. The only drawback was that the menu is limited to Italian food, If you are looking for a nice steak or grilled fish you will not find it here.
