Stopped here last night for our second visit of the year. Gareth was really welcoming,  even offered to carry our bags up the stairs. Room clean, amazing views, what more do people want for £60 a night as opposed to 100+ if you were stopping in Liverpool centre. We will be back soon

Stayed for one night for a game at Anfield. Just a couple of stops on the metro for the soccer bus, 1 stop for Liverpool 1 shopping centre which is perfect for shopping dinner and drinks and very reasonable metro prices. The metro is next door to the hotel. 

The gentleman working there was informative, friendly and made me feel very welcome. 

Will be returning if we can get more Liverpool football tickets.

Great stay - Perfect location for Anfield and Central Liverpool

I stayed here last night, and I have to say I was disappointed. I was initially impressed to receive a call from Gareth asking what time I would be arriving. I stated my half hour arrival window, and I arrived exactly in the middle of this time, which was during the preferred check-in time (which is fairly usual for a hotel, but it worked for us). However, there was nobody at the property despite having told them what time I would be arriving. It took 10 minutes to get hold of Gareth on the phone (I had both a landline number and his mobile - neither were answered), and then was sat outside for another 20 minutes before he finally arrived to let me in. 

After climbing 3 flights of stairs (good for the thighs!) I was shown to my room. The room was fine, with a mezzanine up a flight of stairs with an amazing view over the river, comfy bed with good quality sheets. It all seemed very clean. 

However I discovered that the toilet was blocked, so I notified Gareth. He came up while I was out, failed to unblock the toilet, and left the bathroom floor a shocking mess, which he neglected to clean up. Simply not good enough, and incredibly disappointing for £60 a night!

Lovely room, terrible service

Went to Liverpool for the weekend with my mum and this is defiantly not a hotel!!  we were on the very top floor, stairs were extremely narrow and very little lighting. we received a set of keys which meant we had to unlock and lock the main door every time we left .The room when we got there ( which we weren't allowed in until after 3pm) was absolutely filthy and had a strong vile smell. There was no one in the hotel apart from us so we had no one to help us at all. Tried to contact someone by phoning the number that was in the room but the line disconnected. We were unable to make ourselves any refreshment due to the fact the kettle had moths in and the cups were dirty and covered in dust! as soon as we seen the room we got ready and left straight away as we had a concert to go to
. the rooms were bare and lacked basic day to day things a hotel is supposed to provide. when we got back and decided to go to bed we found moths in our bed dead spiders as well. the pillows were filthy and there was live moths crawling around the bed. straight away we started looking for another hotel close by to put us up, But due to being so late on in the night and the fact everywhere was booked due to the Olly Murs concert we had to stay. They turned our Tv off and turned the Wifi off at a certain point which left us sitting in a filthy room with nothing to do, so we sat up all night as we couldn't use the bed due to dead insects and spiders and couldn't leave until 6.30 am until we could leave to find somewhere to get food and water. There was mold all over the carpets the walls were covered in damp  and again the bathroom was covered in bugs. toilet seat had crusted urine on it .when wanting to put our clothes into drawers we found a pair of men's dirty boxer briefs, used tissues and lots of paint. there was holes in the wall, the carpet was a disgrace, we had one arm chair between us to sit on, so for seven hours i was sat on a filthy floor but when we thought it couldn't actually get any worse the three poorly lit bulbs one blew and  popped out of the socket leaving the wire hanging out. When wanting to leave in the morning we had no one there to greet us or bothered if everything was okay or give us anything to say we had checked out. We just had to post the keys and leave. This completely ruined our trip away and would advise no one to stay here. We choose this one because we needed something close to the railway but there are millions of stunning hotels near by.i have photos I am going to put up as well. I will never return to this (Hotel) again.

Worst Night Ever!

Stayed at this hotel on the 25th of October, wouldn't call it a hotel it's more like a hostel with hotel prices. Got there and welcomed fine which was the best part, it got so much worse. There was no shower curtain which we were planning on going out but there was nobody in the 'hotel' to report to. Also check your bed sheet before getting in them! I got in bed and ended up with chewing gum all over me! They are now saying that I brought the chewing gum in with me which I know I didn't because I didn't have any on me when I entered the room! They take no responsibility and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody.
