I had to stay here for work and it was without a doubt one of the best B&Bs I've been to.  Nothing was too much trouble and the continental breakfast was lovely.   They even let me keep my bike in the garage! 

Would definitely stay again.

The couple who own this B&B really go all out to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable! The rooms are lovely, very comfortable beds and the breakfasts were lovely. The place is located in a quiet housing estate, meaning there was never any noise or unpleasantness outside. The local area was also lovely. I was there doing fieldwork for a colleague's PhD and it was nice finishing a day's work with a nice choice of local eating establishments. The B&B isn't far from the town of Banbury, which has many types of restaurants to choose from, as well as a few food-serving pubs within relative walking distance from the B&B. All in all, this was a wonderful place to stay!

After spending hours in booking.com looking for a accommodation for our trip to the British Grand Prix, we came across the House if Orchids. We are so glad we chose here to stay. I had called a couple of times before our visit for some advice regarding our trip and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. In fact they made recommendations that we wouldn't have thought of which made our trip so much easier. 
Check-in is usually until 10pm but we were not due to arrive until midnight and all they requested I do was text to let them know when we were nearly there and would meet us outside so not to disturb other guest, consideration for others while also ensuring we arrived was very much first and foremost for the owners. We were shown to our double en-suite shower room then offered fresh milk (which we got every night)so we could have a cuppa. Our room was lovely, plenty of storage for our 4 night stay, a lovely refreshments tray, and very clean. Attention to detail very obvious. 
As we were having very early starts and we got back to our room to find 2 bags of goodies for our breakfast! Yum yum the other 2 morning we were there for breakfast which was perfect for a continental breakfast, fab selection and all the tea/coffee we could drink. 
The owners took the time to talk to us, ask us about our day, genuinely interested. 
We cannot recommend the House of Orchid enough, if you are looking for anywhere to stay in the area then look no further. A++++++ owners 5***** B&B.

A retired couple own this home but rent out the rooms as a B&B. We were upgraded to ensuite bedroom whilst a long stayer was away. Owners extremely well mannered and friendly yet professional and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely and cosy house with lots of attention to detail. Lovely breakfast. Very pleased as we booked last minute just for one night. Was attending a wedding in Aynhoe, suited the location well. Parking available, easy to get to. Can only book via booking.com. Very reasonably priced, in fact, far cheaper then other b&b's in area. If you want a home from home feel this is worth it. Thank you to the lovely owners Mr & Mrs S.
