Had looked forward to this stay since we booked it. We were very disappointed with both the stay and the owners’ reactions to our concerns.

We were shown to what looked like a very cosy comfortable en suite room with all the necessities. On closer inspection, however, the room was in serious need of a dust (definitely a few weeks worth of dust on all surfaces including bathroom.) We dusted it ourselves and were going to leave it until I went looking for a socket and looked behind the bed, where a few weeks’ worth of dust became a few years’ worth!

It was impossible to make the shower not scalding and so we had to get them to turn the pump off to cool it down, which meant we had to shower in a dribble.

Breakfast was very very nice, although the breakfast room could’ve done with a dust as well. As we were settling up, my wife felt she had to say something about the stay. We felt the reaction was very defensive and he seemed shocked, despite the fact that two or three of the previous reviews mentioned the dust. 

We received £10 back on the room but didn’t give the feedback for money back. The house has a lot of promise and could really be lovely and we were made to feel very welcome.

Disappointing

Had a great 5 days at Bridge House B&B. Jimmy makes a great breakfast. 
Rooms are clean and comfortable and the local area is beautiful. Would recommend highly. 

Hope to come back next year.

Nothing too much trouble

Great B&B very comfortable, very clean, very quiet. 
House is very inviting and the Lady of the house very helpful and communicative. 
Dietary requirements catered for, and a fantastic breakfast after a sound sleep.
I will return and recommend very highly.

Fantastic B&B

Stayed here for one night while in between visiting Ulster folk Park and Belfast St George's Market. We booked 2 rooms. The owners are very friendly but there are a few issues with the place. 
The rooms are small and needed a good clean. Very dusty in room. Many months worth of dust. Cups dirty. No biscuits with tea and coffee tray. We did get some delicious homemade flake meal biscuits when I asked for something to eat. The bathroom shelves were dirty too and the toilet dirty. 
The kitchen of the house I could see when going past to the dining room was also unclean and made me worried.
We also had to ask where the lounge room was as they didn't show us when we checked in. They gave us 10£ off our bill but I didn't give the feedback to get money back. I think they need to be aware of these things to help avoid more issues again maybe.
Sorry wouldn't stay again.

Disappointed

Hosts are very gracious and welcoming and eager to recommend eating establishments.  The house is comfortable, good bed and pillows.  Trouble getting water out of the shower this morning.  The only small negative was the room could use a serious dusting as surfaces were not the cleanest.  Soaps and other bathroom amenities all provided.
