We were 3 men on motorcycles.  Jamie moved his car out of his garage and insisted we parked in it.  A very thoughtful and helpful gesture.
The rooms were all ready, clean and comfortable.  The location is about 5 minutes by cab to the centre of Ayr.
In the morning, breakfast was moved to 30 mins earlier, because we were anxious to catch a ferry.
The choice was extensive and Jamie and Aileen made us feel very welcome.
When we left, I had forgotten something and Jamie came out to let me know.

Words can hardly do justice to this B and B . First of all,  Jimmy and Aileen MacKie  took us into their home and their hearts to give us three days and nights of comfort. The bedroom was a good size with an ensuite .. Breakfast served in their sunroom overlooking a beautiful garden was ample . Such an interesting place . I highly recommend this place . It is on the outskirts of town but the bus goes by frequently .. A car would be ideal. We had friends who took us around so that wasn't a problem .

We stayed for two nights but wish it had been for longer Eileen and Jimmy were a lovely hosts.  
Best cooked breakfast we have had in a long time. Our room was lovely and comfortable.  Would highly recommend a stay here. We hope to return again.

Mom, baby(2months old) and myself stayed at this friendly B&B for one night when visiting the Robert Burns sites, which are close by. Our accommodation was a lovely, clean 1 bedroom suite with private bathroom and enough space for all of little one's goodies. The full breakfast was delightful.
Jimmy and Eileen were very welcoming and a great source of information about the area. We would happily recommend this B&B and shall return on our next trip up that way.

Our stay at Garth Madryn was wonderful. 
Our hosts Jimmy and his wife Eileen were so warm and helpful
They drove us to the hospital on our first day, when we told them we need to check out the place.
They were genuinely always ready to help with whatever you needed; from getting the nail clipper, a stapler, and most of all, in the night when I had to urgently print out a form. 
Eileen felt my stress and tried her best to help, and eventually we got it done. 

Breakfast is good and fresh. Every morning you could smell the nice bacon cooking!

The house was warm, clean and quiet. Everything was in working order. ( and free from dust)
The room was big and comfortable, attached to a lovely and homely sitting area. 
The bathroom was clean well and stocked. 

I would certainly recommend this wonderful warm "home away from home", and with hosts you'd wish were your family!
